Pretty similar. Not a great enough difference to justify buying one if you have the 1000 already. Buy its worth getting if you dont have a PSP at all.

I does the same thing but it's an upgraded version.

For a more updated version you should get the 3000, the screen is so nice compared with the older models.

If you want portability then check out the go, it's not for everyone but it will appeal to some, it's nice that sony will cater for both types of customer by supporting both the UMD and UMDless versions.
