The Crown Vic burns gas at the rate of 11MPG on patrol, according to Motor Trend. . . . but the Impala (9c1s can't come with anything but the 3.9) burn significantly less than the ECOboost engine.

This is honestly a nice car. My friend just bought it loaded with black metallic paint for 44,500. It is a very nice car especially from the inside. The bad points are the paddle shifters not being user friendly and it Is a huge ass car.
I can say that this car is too expensive though. I mean you can buy a brand new mustang gt500 with 540 horsepower for a close price and still have a better performing vehicle that also looks way more stunning.
only with options, it starts at about $37k which is cheaper by $5K than the cheapest you mentioned. Excluding the G37x which is 2k cheaper. And of everything you mentioned only the M is the same size.

it is simply too big and too heavy. the nissan altima is slightly smaller, but still huge, and weighs a whopping 1200 pounds less than this. they could have made this car altima-sized, and it would have been a good 400-600 pounds lighter.
i would accept the fact that this car is huge and has terrible brakes because that's a characteristic of an american car. but ford makes ridiculous claims that they're trying to reinvent the american car with the taurus/ sho. to me it seems like just more of the same.

the new Maxima is a pretty extraordinary car. for the 280hp it has going to the front wheels, it pulls like no other FWD car i've driven. the Avalon is just pure bore. its the epitomy of what Toyota is.
the Corvette doesn't have leaf springs, it has a monoleaf suspension. meaning 1 carbon composite leaf going across the front and rear axles.
oh and all 4 of those are around the same sizes, especially the Fusion in which is almost shadows the Altima's size.

it is simply too big and too heavy. the nissan altima is slightly smaller, but still huge, and weighs a whopping 1200 pounds less than this. they could have made this car altima-sized, and it would have been a good 400-600 pounds lighter.

i would accept the fact that this car is huge and has terrible brakes because that's a characteristic of an american car. but ford makes ridiculous claims that they're trying to reinvent the american car with the taurus/ sho. to me it seems like just more of the same.
good by american standards, terrible by worldly standards. just like the cadillac cts.

Maybe.....but have u actually checked it out? Folks put a bunch of emphasis on ish they would never ever notice otherwise. Have you ever had 5 cars all @ 1 time you can test and compare together. You done that before? you should try it and then post your findins here. I'm interested since it seems you know a bunch about "worldly Standards". Peace....

if you want something as small as the Altima, get a Fusion. that's exactly why the Fusion was built, to compete with the Altima, Camry, and Accord. the Taurus competes with the Maxima and Avalon.

that's all you see me do? what the fuck does that mean? and second of all, i hate on a car if it's bad regardless of where it came from. the maxima and avalon are horrible cars too.
but you don't understand my point. the altima is still a huge car, but it manages to weigh less than a corvette with leafs springs and a plastic body.
my point was that ford could have made this car lighter, they just didn't bother.
and i think the fusion, camry, and accord are slightly smaller than the altima

the new Maxima is a pretty extraordinary car. for the 280hp it has going to the front wheels, it pulls like no other FWD car i've driven. the Avalon is just pure bore. its the epitomy of what Toyota is.
the Corvette doesn't have leaf springs, it has a monoleaf suspension. meaning 1 carbon composite leaf going across the front and rear axles.
oh and all 4 of those are around the same sizes, especially the Fusion in which is almost shadows the Altima's size.
