You Probably have my dream job. Im only 15 though. I want to move to Florida because I live in san Francisco dont have a boat, but i fish for stripers almost every day. You are in Florida right?
Allnet is actually right....and it is quite illegal to pull any goliath grouper over your gunwale. Stress of its own weight can seriously injure the fish. Big fines if you are caught doing this.
You guys are fushing professionals right... Well i am 16 and i even know that If you pull a fish that massive onto a boat like that its weight can break its back causing the fish to die... be careful next time... other wise nice fish
i get chills watching. man i wish i could fish for goliath. but i weigh 120. id get pulled in when i jerk. hahahahahaha maby i should gain some weight.
hey capt. you ever gone fishing for sturgeon or do you just fish florida area. but you great videos though, i wish i could make trip down to florida and fish for snook and goliath
this is exciting to watch. I love going fishing. I wish I can go fishing for these type of fish. how much would a trip like this cost and were is the best place to fish for these fish
just pulled up a 250kg monster yesterday took all day to get a good hook up and the only time i did is when i told em to chew on this and it worked will be uploading some pictures and measurements of it normaly we would keep it but in honor of your show i let it go and told him to come back when he gets bigger
omg, id love to be on this show fishing these giants... im 16 years old, i went deep sea fishing and caught a 80 pound sailfish , but this, i really need to fish, its probably my dream vacation... id also love to fish tarpon... but the problem is, i live in canada....
Giant THANKS to all who watch Chew On This. We just hit 4 million viewers on 2/19/09. As far as I know you all have made Chew On This the most watched fishing show in the world Online.
We have caught one on this show. I don't really fish for them much. This year we may go to Destin and film during the Cobia run. I would tell you more if I had it.
Well, if you would like another area to film for the cobia run come see me in Biloxi, MS. I fish with a group of guys that would like to be on a fishing show. I am new to the cobia fishing compared to the other guys on the boat, but fishing with them made an expert out of me quick.
I would love to. If there wasn't about $2,000 in expenses production and travel costs. Maybe one day if the budget get's better we will look into it. Thank you very much for the invite.
Actually he is a very good fisherman and has won many tournaments here in SW Florida. However, it was his first time with an Avet Reel and heavy drag on a 300 pound fish. Everyone is shocked when they get hooked up.
Thanks man, I got a good idea with a ropefishin' technique Ill be out at the phophate docks with some 4 lb mullet this weekend tellin 'em choke on this, opps I mean Chew On This ha ha ha lol!
Captian will a senator 9/0 with the drag hammered down have enough drag pressure to catch a Goliath in the 200 lb size? Or is that idea a waste of time. I'd love to catch one. Do you have any suggestions for reels besides an Avet I can't afford a TRX or an EX. Have a guddin man.
Hey Mr. Chancy I live in Cape Coral Fl and there are alot of great inshore spots BIG goliath grouper that are very closeby I know how to get the baits for em and have tried many times with 4/0 sized reels to catch em and have had no succes in getting them close. So will a Senator 9/0 spooled with
300 lb leader and the drag hammered down be able to have sufficient drag pressure to even give me a chance? Also, I like your vids. Have guddin man!
Captain I have been fishing for a couple years now but im a backwater fisherman...and I use light tackle I want to purchase a avet reel and a rod to go along for like 250 pound fish...any recommendations? thanks
