Did you know that you can convert Glock 31 to to a Glock 17 9mm . Glock 17 magazines fit. Change the barrel and spring for 9mm. Extractor seems to work.
357sig, a necked down 40sw round to a 357 round originally developed by Sig and adopted by several Manufacturer's. A totally different round from the 357 magnum.
Not to mention the .357 sig has far greater penetrative ability when it comes to body armor, walls, car doors, etc. over the .45 acp. and it's reliability in terms of feeding. Love this round.
Just to add on to what you explained, officer issued pistols are always modified models. google it lol don't have to take my word on it. but great damn vid.
I'm a police officer, firearms instructor, and a certified Glock Armorer. Officer issued pistols ARE NOT modified. If Joe Citizen orders a Glock from Smyrna, Georgia and my department does too, there's no difference.
absolutely. 40's can be switched to .357sig with a simple barrel switch and still use the same mags and visa versa. Lone Wolf makes a nice aftermarket barrel if you are interested.
@ASSDECUBITUS I had a 9mm Lone Wolf barrel and used it for about 1 year in my 31. I found it to be extremely accurate. The down side is the LW chamber is tighter around the casing and sometimes cheaper grade expanding brass can fail to eject completely where the looser chamber on the Glock barrel never given me an issue. I am refering to my experience with my personal firearm only.
@jkatz44 I bought the Lone Wolf barrel (G22 - G31) [ .40 s&w -to- .357 sig]. The guns shoots great and the factory glock mags for my G22 fit the .357 sig round. I've enjoyed it.
There's no such thing as "knockdown power" in a handgun and its not a .357 bullet, its a 9mm bullet. This guy is talk'n out his ass.

The Glock 31 is a good handgun. I heard just good news about the new Serbian gun Rashomon caliber 0.45. It also looks better than the Glock 31.

Hey man I bought a lone wolf barrel for my Glock 22 to convert it to .357 sig.
E-mail me in 2-3 weeks if you remember and I will let you know how I like it. G22 magazines fit 357 sig rounds.
Only bad thing .357 sig can be a little hard to find and cost as much as .45acp
From what I read the 9mm conversion barrel's haven't been as accurate.

@millergun, thanks for the info. Did you buy the G17 mags and if so do they fit into a G22/G31?
ASSDECUBITUS 1 year ago
@ASSDECUBITUS Yes, I bought 3 of the G17 mags and they work just fine in my G31.

Great shooting. How much more punishing is the 32 to shoot than the 31? Is a 400 rd range session brutal with the compact?
