She was awesome! If that strat would have been plugged in they would have had to use 100 ft. of cord! Also note the lucky rabbits foot hooked where her bottom strap would have been on the strat.

What a talent! And she is playing what would become known as the Mary Kaye Stratocaster. That must be the movie 'Cha Cha Boom' the movie that features her playing it. She favored D'Angelicos and would not own a Strat for some years. Fender did a promo ad with her Trio and sent over an Ash bodied blond Strat with gold hardware. The name stuck due to the ad. She was awesome!
