Wer sich an einen eagles- song rantraut, muss schon Mut haben, aber Udo übersetzt den Song nicht nur in deutsch- er bringt das Gefühl rüber- Klasse- immer wieder.

Bin auf der s=Suche nach einer Version dieses Songs mit Suzi Quattro im Duett mit Udo. Ich galube dass sie das im Ramen einer SWF3 Rocknacht gesungen haben.

I don't like this version very much. I think the words don't fit in the music so well (he has to strech the words and so). Look for the Carpenters version.

Yes, it was it. The Album was "Der Dedektiv - The Rockrevue 2" from 1979. Desperado is a Cover from the Eagles.

I have known this song long before I krew the original from the Eagles. I like both versions a lot. Haven't heard this for like 20 years, but still know the words by heart.

The whole album "Der Detektiv" is awesome. Would really like to buy it on CD, but I'm not quite sure if it was released on CD at all. Herzlichen Dank!
