I just did the same thing to my gears of war 2--what a bunch of garbage for a game.

The multi-player sucks, horde is the only redeeming value on this game and that just gets old. Between the moding and the lag well, this game has completely lost all it's fun. And while it may have been a waste of money, it felt so good to crush this piece of garbage in my hands, uh!

dude an update is saved to your hard drive not your gameplay....although the updates would have some effect that would not be the reason for lag...it lags because epic is too lazy to have servers for the game. instead they rely on peoples connections so that people can lag switch like fairies!

gears of war 2 sucks the end! the smokes suck... they stun u and u get chainsawed or 2 pieced directly after and last time i checked... in gears 1, sniper headshots killed people.. well not in gears 2... the boomshot sucks the lancer sucks the hammerburst sucks and most of all the shotgun sucks... the lag is awful and u shift all the time and when u go into matchmaking... u wait like 2 hours to play a match that will piss you off because it will lag... shittiest game ever

I've come close to cracking my disc in half so I feel this guys pain. I took a shotgun and shot a guy using a planted mortar(in the back while he was shoot) he didn't die he stood up I shot him again still didn't die rolled away missed the next shot connected another shoot he turns around and we exchange 3 shots and I get downed to his host. I whipped my disc across the room (didn't break, though I kinda wished it did) and then happily played CoD4 instead of the piece of shit. GoW1>GoW2
