Anyone who thinks the Blue Angels are second class to the Red Arrows is ignorant, and generally don't like Americans anyway. Sorry for your prejudice.
But the Angels fly larger planes than do the Arrows, and their safety record is no worse. And let's not forget that this video is about an Arrow running into a hill. Anyway, a farer comparison to the Arrows would be the USAF Thunderbirds, who are most definately first class!

All the training that the red arrow pilot had meant that he was able to bring the plane under control when the breaks failed. Its a shame that farmer Giles fucked it up at the end!!!
As a matter of fact the brakes were tested and found to be fine.
