Oh dear,not looking good,but if it's still under warranty you will be able to take it in to the apple store and get it exchanged doe's not matter if it's not your's originally,Ive don it in the past with 2 iPhone 3gs's i had,exchanged them no quibble's :)
@pimpyouriphone3g Hi will i beable to send it by post to the apple store to get an exhange because the nearest store is miles away and i would have to go by train to get to glasgow.
If so would i need to include the box with all the extras ?
I'm not going to phone them i was just going to send the iPod through the post to the store with proof of purchase and a letter with what's wrong with it. do you think that will be ok?

@pimpyouriphone3g Yeh i suppose, the last time i had a problem with an apple product i ended up spending £5 on a phone call just for them to tell me to post it to my local apple store for a exchange so i think i will just try sending it first and save the £5 call this time! haha

@IpodTouch2GKid Na buddy,When i have been they swap it like for like,so if you send just the Ipod then it's just the Ipod they will replace :)
