  • Let me shave with my sensor, take a picture, a few days later I'll shave with the pro-glide do hickey, take a picture, I'll bet no one could tell which shaved my face in either pic. You can only shave so far before it becomes a ridiculous game for these companies. BRING BACK MY SENSOR GILLETTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • gillette trolls :)) lolz .. its a matter of taste.im 17 and i started shaving a couple of months ago, and the fusion is the best razor for me. rarely irritates and it feels very good to have a piece of advanced technology that you can rely on.. i mean , you may be very traditionalist and very reluctant towards new and innovative stuff, but at least kkep it for yourself. if we would all be like that, we wouldn't have tap water , electricity etc nowadays.

  • @MetalRevolutionRO Kid, wait till your beard really starts to grow.

Also watch as your wallet deflates from spending at least $3 a cartridge, which you'll go through at least one every other week when you can grow an actual beard.

  • Sensor, Mach 3 or Fusion the man in the advert always seems to use it the same way, with the same shots cut together. These razros are simpler and better...and 10 refills cost perhaps less than one fusion refill these days.

  • Just got one like that, from Walmart.

  • Personally, for my face, 2 blades do it for me. I can't see why anyone would want more than 3 blades.

But then, what would all those highly paid design engineers do if we stop at the 2 or 3 blade models. No, no, no, we must buy the 5 blade models so they come out with NEWER 5 blade models!

They don't care one bit about the customer: its all about their pockets.

Its shameful how our intelligence is insulted every time they put out a different version of the SAME razor.

    They got some balls

  • indeed its all about the money.

theres no reason why you should need a 3 blade (mach) or even more blade fusion razor.

The Trac II, Atra Plus, and Sensor Excel are all you need (2 blades) and give the same if not better results than the fusion.

Of course the best of em all if the oldschool one blade double edge razors, however they're hard to use so i stick with shave brush/cream + sensor excel.

  • God, do I ever remember that commercial with that really catchy phrase...lol!

They should never have gone past the 3 blade models... its just too stupid.

Put it into proper perspective: With 3 blade models, every stroke against your face has 3 sharp razors scratching away at the skin; with 4 blade models, its 4 blades scratching away... and with 5 blades.... God help us!

Its silly corporate competition and greed to do whatever they can to get you to shell out your dollars.

  • I have a Mach Fusion now...but I loved the rubberized grip on the sensor excel.....

  • i was gonna buy one but they charge to much for there product..

  • it cheap on amazon for 7.75 free shipping i bought it, it really good it works better than any other gillette razor iv used and i went through alot before i used this one.

  • This ad is for a regular Sensor, not the Sensor Excel.

  • I still use the Gillette Sensor today. Well I buy the Sensor Excel blades which I think came out in 94. The only difference being the Excel has rubber microphins under the blades. Defo Gillette best ever razor. Puts the Mach 3 and Fusion to shame. Plus I still use the old Gillette Foam for Sensitive skin.

  • I also still use Gillette Sensor Excel. Hate Mach 3 and Fusion.... don't like those extra blades.

  • I wish I still had my sensor excel. It was definitley the best even though it was this old 2 blade. I'm reret chucking mine and buying a Schick Quattro.

  • you can find some of the sensor excels in the original packing at drug stores such as cvs or rite aid....they may have some they didnt sell..the rite aid I went to had 3 left the other day...you just have to look around

  • I live in Canada.. we don't have those stores. :( But I did find one! :D I haven't yet had to go looking for the blad refills tho...

  • foamy xD it looks like insect spray

  • i recently switched to traditional wetshaving using a DE safety razor; prior to the change I was using a MACH 3 and all in all I was pleased with the results. I switched to the DE side of things because cartridge razor refills have shot through the roof in prices. Great commercial by the way.

  • Does adding more blades even make a difference?

And what has a child fishing got to do with shaving....

however I was highly aroused by this advert...

  • i love the bit where the guy has his girl putting on his face cream..looking like it is what makes their life worth living...really connected and bringing the reletionship into the shave. "honey..i'm about to shave, would you like to come and get involved? it's dead fun putting this creamy stuff on my face...come have a go and laugh with me..ho..ho...ho"...

    wicked, i love it!! hahaha

  • If only the walls could talk.

    Sensor 2 :30 version E-F

  • This was my favorite Ad when I was a little girl and I still buy my Dad Gillete products

  • Old school, eh?

  • lmao..def remember this song to this commercial

  • As good as the Sensor was, it still doesn't work as well for me as the Mach 3.

  • Are you kidding me?

  • Two or three blade razors are enough. Five or more makes my face raw and bumpy.

  • "Responsive springs" or no, a two-blade razor is like a crank-start automobile these days, a reminder of a simpler, bygone era.

  • absolutely. now we have what, 8 bladed razors or something ridiculous like that? i use electric thanks. hehe.

  • Gillette ,

    La perfection au masculin ...
