with any wireless camera there is a risk of interference with other electronic devices around the same area that uses the same frequency. It is best if there is not other cameras in the area. Some spy cameras let you have 2, 3, or more cameras connected to the same receiver... check the site under the video to see more spy cameras that do that.

1) you can get signal upto 700 feet away, some cameras are different so you need to check all of them and see which one is best for your needs.

1) you can get the signal 600 to 700 feet away from camera. These comes in different versions, 1.2ghz, 2.4ghz etc, you need to visit the site and see what else is available that may help you decide.

2) yes, someone else can catch the signal if they have a receiver with the same frequency and channel, if you want 100% guarantee that no one will intercept the signal then a self-contained spy cam is a better choice.

about your question, no, you do not need a DVR or VCR. You can connect it directly to a TV video input. The only reason I show the VCR part is in case you want to record what you are viewing to a VCR, but you can just use a TV or any other monitor that has video input.

I made the calculations. Camera comsumption is 80 mAH and a rechargeble 9v battery has 170 mAH soo 170/80 = 2.13 hours. But I could connect 3 of them in paralel and get 3x times the life time. thanks anyway

This spy cam does not connect to a computer. You connect it to a VCR, TV or DVR (digital video recorder) the spy cam sends the video to the receiver, then you connect the receiver to a recording or viewing device such as your TV.

To connect it to your computer, your computer would have to have a video in capabilities.
