Btw ive got a question if theres someone who knows about guitars more than me; ive got a problem with pinch harmonics and i think i,m doing it right.. but i cant get it to work on higher notes. would it help if i would change my guitars mics? 5th of A string is the most common where i get it to work nicely.

@Worzx Well it's natural that the high notes are harder to get pinch harmonics

also the wood of your guitar and pick ups also effects

normaly a high out put humbucking pick up tend to be easier to produce pinch harmonics

also a pickup with ceramic magnets also would be easier than a pick up with alnico magnets

(not to be picky but the work completely differently) and yes getting pickups designed to work with high gain would work better (i use a seymour duncan dimebucker at the bridge) but you might not be pinching in the right place as the sweet spot moves around slightly depending on what note you are trying to pinch

@Worzx well you can pick up pickups (see what i did there? :P) relatively cheap,my dimebucker cost me £70 and you can get something like a bareknuckle nailbomb for about £90 (not sure where you come from to give you the price in your currency)

To all you haters out there. I've seen dragonforce live 3 times now and they always play this tune...it's their biggest hit, why wouldn't they play it?

They are a very decent band live even to the point where Herman, sam and their bassist all stand in a circle and play each-others instruments for sections!

They also poke fun at themselves a lot & don't take themselves too seriously.

Look up Paul Gilbert. These guys are definitely good guitarists, but calling Herman "one of the best" is a wicked overstatement. They can play fast, but their biggest problem is consistency and precision. They might get one good take out of 50 for the studio version, and people idolize them for that. I loves me some Dragonforce but it'd be nice if they could play less sloppily. :/

@stupot898 its not being sped up, if you'll notice the audio is actually slightly off from the beginning of the video, and you can also see it in when it lags as they switch chords. what was originally a good clean cut to next scene got fucked up in the upload.
