This is Redstar of the SMB Movie Archive again. I was just re-watching this (great) review and kind of smiled how at the end you discuss the lack of a sequel. Phlibbit and I are actually working on a sequel with one of the original writers. You won't see it on film, of course, but we do have plans to get it out there.
@MrThrowawayAccount LOL he he he he, need a few ideas for creative fight sequences? BTW i didn't get a chance to say this before but I was aware of your site since before I made this video, and it was quite the pleasant surprise when you guys contacted me! :)
@EvilGregProductions That's great that you were familiar with the site. A lot of fans of the movie are surprised to find there's an established fan community. We really should find a way to get the word out.
Well, we already have the basic plot outlined for parts II and III, but the story development is still being brainstormed. We're planning on getting suggestions from the forum at some point if you want to join and offer input that way. :)
Great review--I love the reasons you gave for why the film is nostalgic for you. I have many of the same reasons myself, actually.
And your fan trailer is wonderful--like you said, the trailers and spots from 1993 aren't very good and don't showcase what the movie was about at all.
@SpiderFan23 well i guess it is okay actually. i can see why a lot of people despise it but it isn't so terrible its unwatchable. but it isnt a pot of gold either

i think the age thing is becouse in the movie mario and luigi are father and son
Rantincorporated 1 year ago
@Rantincorporated Mario is Luigi's father-figure, but they're still siblings. Mario raised Luigi after their parents died.

@Rantincorporated
No they aren't. Mario is only a father figure to Luigi. Watch the film.
