this is how i did it: pull down all the 4 ledges first one after the other(and Rutland hardly attacked me when doing this), then he cant reload his energy, then kill him with guns/grenades etc, I was done in about 3 minutes.

When he comes of the ledge when he recoverd you shoot him but when you want to throw the grenades he doesnt stand still on this movie, i tried but when I do throw the grenades he comes right at me~! can somebody please help ive tried a thousand times its making me crazy!!

an easier way is to just enable 1 shot kill and that will kill him! only works with tokomoto and rutland :( great game though! still ain't completed it yet, any help on england time trial ps2???

wow that really works! before I watched this video a glitch happened. he threw a grenade but he kind of just stood right next to it. When it blew up he kept blowing up over and over again, I didn't have to do anything!!!

If you dont have any grenades then just shoot at the spot below the snake head and pull those 4 platforms down.. you dont really neeg grenades,medikits or the rifle to kill him just evade him and just 30 seconds.. thats all..but thanks for this video..

You can get some Grenades from the guys outside, before you enter this room. If you don't have a saved game to load, you have to kill Rutland the traditional way.

Shoot Rutland to bring his health down and make him jump on a ledge. With your weapon still drawn, wait for him to jump off the ledge, but make sure you have locked your target on him. Whilst he is in midair, throw a Grenade. It will explode when Rutland lands on the ground. This will make him go flying up, so he will not come after you. Still with the aim locked, throw as many Grenades as you have timing a chain. Shooting at the same time will help your job.

jst dodge his attack with B (xbox 360) while pressing Y to destroy his pillars. once all pillars are taken down, u can easily shoot him till he dies

oh i already defeated rutland it took me a while since i didnt have grenades but i finally defeated him anywyay, how do you defeat the serpent in england the cage never falls on it

You need to shoot the bells(?) first. Once the serpent takes "interest" on it (it will stop attacking to pay attention at the sound), you can stop shooting the bell and pull the lever. The cage should hit the serpent. Hope that helps!
