For those win 7 32-bit ultimate user who have Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate 7 build 1121, just follow the same step in this video but instead of 1:44 delete {C06F4056-C35F-4bf8-A93A-9F098­F3E503D} and that's it. I successfully registered mine after doing that.

I was running Win7 Ultimate x64, and looking for the registry key where the video told us to go did not help. After using Process Monitor, I was able to find the registry key was hidden in the HKey_USERS/S-1-5-21****/Softwa­re/SysWow6432Node. Search for the registry key inside that folder, and something should come up. Delete it and it hopefully should work.

Man help me im so sorry i forgot to turn off the internet before i started, because i was in a hurry... and i deleted the folder {58473D84-495E-4e4e-AD80-D817A­9FDE195} while having the internet on.. and in the end it didn't work and then i realized i had the internet on.

How can i restart the fixing process again and get tht folder back and re-delete it with internet and everything off

when u closed vc5.exe did u restart ur computer also did u save ur work? the method i gave shouldnt get rid of any of ur documents all u doing is making the program forgot that it was unregisterd it has nothing to do with the documents my freind. All vc5.exe is its the file that runs in the background of your computer to bring the GUI graphical user interface

IF YOU JUST DELETE THE FIRST FILE, THE {58473d84...ect.}, AND LEAVE THE REGINFO ALONE, X-VC WORKS WITHOUT ANY ANNOTING POP-UP AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO TURN OFF INTERNET TO USE IT

@Kickassmaster08 I just did as he said and deleted the first key (file) and then registered and it was succesful then I blocked the prgram from connecting to the net hoping it will keep registered.... ;)

@hardbloodyfighter well after 2 days as you can see from the date of this post the problem repeated it self however I did the same thing as before and it registered ...... well I don't have any problem deleting the key again and again if it will keep the program runing when ever I want lol oh and you don't need to restart the computer after you delete the key. Just delete it and register, simple thing and fast.

Theres another way which works with deleting anything its east i figuerd this my self all u do u is re enter the key and teh name and press register and before it goes to the unregisterd screen you right click to start task manager and stop vc5.exe which when u restart the program it works i promise you this 100% it will work if it does not u can send me all the hate mail you want thats a promise

As the tutorial explains, you will get the problem again if you allow xilisoft to connect to the internet. Try blocking Xilisoft with windows security, or just use them separately (you should leave your computer alone when a video is converting anyways). Hope that helps :)
