Goodness the last part really scared me! My bed is against the wall and so I used to sleep facing the room every night because as a young teen I used to have a weird phobia of sleeping with my back facing the room, I just feel incredibly vulnerable. That last part of your story just revived that phobia for me lol.
@vim92 I think sleeping with our back to the room just makes us feel vulnerable. That sounds pretty normal. :) I often think it would be nice to have a large bedroom with the bed in the middle of the room facing a big window with a nice view. But then I remember that would mean having my back to half the room and the door, and that kinda creeps me out. LOL
I looked at your page...I love Supernatural adn Charmed, too. I'm a big Buffy fan. I love sci-fi/fantasy and horror films. I LOVE anything to do with vampires. :)
Creepy story. Reminds me of a building I used to have my office in. I was usually the last person to leave at night and always took the stairs. Only at night, and only when I was half way down the stairs, would I suddenly hear someone running down the stairs behind me. I'd turn to look but no one was ever there.
I was petrified of that room with the hot-water heater. A friend that used to come over was terrified of it as well. The HWH looked like some hideous jack-o-lantern. shiver!
Poltergeists are usually attracted to where young people/children are. The house I live in definitely has spirits in it but they are quite harmless and my family is used to them. Sometimes visitors get a little suprise though!
But most paranormal researchers hold to the theory that they are not external forces, they are not spirits. It is simply physical objects being affected by unconscious manipulations by adolescents' psycho-kinetic energy. Hormones + an adolescent with some advanced ESP abilities = poltergeist.
Soo, if you have someone going through puberty in your home and there is poltergeist activity, that young one has the potential to hone their own psychic abilities...
I truly did post a comment to this. GREAT STORY! I agree with PinkSander, you couldnt have PAID me to go back down there. So creepy thinking of someone standing behind you and watching you seriously that gave me chills. Can't wait for part two!!
Something similar happened to me Toni, only the ghost was a child that was resident at a relative's house by the sea. This ghost actually nudged me while I was in bed!!
Toni, you are brave. I would have ran out and screamed! I've had a feeling of someone touching me lightly when I am alone, like on my arm or back...and for some reason, that doesn't scare me.
I have been told that I am a sensitive...I've had experiences like that throughout my life. Wait til you hear the others. I've recorded several and will be posting them in the days leading up to Halloween. I have to bring back my borrowed camera this weekend...no more vlogs for a while! :(
That is scary stuff Toni, but ya know your braver then me.... There is no way in hell you could get me to sleep in the basement! lol Maybe if it was a finished one, but other then that, no way sister!lol
I KNOW! Basements and attics creep me out! We lived in a house briefly between moving from one house to another and that basement literally terrified me. What made it even worse was our dog refused to go down there, and if we carried him down, be would charge back up the stairs the second hid paws hit the floor! I got a million of 'em! LOL!
Oh god! Yeah you couldn't pay me enough... Okay well everyone has their price! lol SO maybe if it was A LOT of money I might sleep in a basement. But like I said your braver then me! Especially when your dog wouldn't even stay down there!
...tee hee...yes, I cut one long video with 2 stories in half. I'll probably post that one in a day or two. You know, this weird, somehow your comment got marked as Spam. If I did it, it was by mistake. :(

There seems to be a glitch in youtube today where some comments are being marked as spam all by themselves.
qiranger 4 years ago
Well, the "Not Spam" option just finally decided to show itself, so I hope that fixes the situation. :)
