Actually gas engines can. Dump trucks can be loaded as heavy as Semis and many dumps used to be gas engines. Granted they got 1/2 mi to 1mi per gallon loaded they were around. Im a huge diesel supporter BTW but doesnt mean they are the only thing that works. They do put out more power the way we make them and they are more fuel efficient than gas

the modern big truck diesel is so efficent now you can put a piece of paper over the exhaust and it will stay clean, obviously some trucks like this one have been modified for entertainment purposes but the greenies need to look at themselves now and ask why they sit in rushhour traffic with 2 million other cars in los angeles polluting the environment. cars in rush hour and co2 from factories are the biggest polluters, ya wanna give it a rest about trucks and look at yourselfs now...
