I like the Red one more than the silver one. It's head resembles Optimus' head more, further away, but the silver one's head far away looks more like something else!

yeah, there's no indications in the first film that he died. He just disappeared. jazz died, bonecrusher died, brawl likely died (from being attacked from 10 different angles), and megatron was assumed to be dead (and confirmed earlier by Bay) until more recent sources (including Bay's own comments) indicating his possible appearance in the next film.

Well we'll find out soon enough in a few months. Meanwhile, let's just not go too crazy or yell at each others over some movie news.

There's only two silver cars in it, the R8 Sideways and the Concept Corvete Sideswipe. Barricade is still a police car.

I'm not saying mike is a bad reviewer, i'm just saying i enjoy hearing your opinion and advice on how how to tweak a figure to make it better, a la the spring covering dinobot's head. Ive already preordered this bad dude months ago....I really envy you peaugh for getting this dude earlier than me....

Alternity Convoy is way much better lookin than the Binaltech Convoy (I luv sport/racing cars...so sue me!! XD)

However the version I preordered was metallic silver colored...

I have also preordered Transformers: Mickey Mouse...he loooks soo cute~!!

Well grimlock/wheeljack get first prize for 'most annoying transformation in history' so i wouldnt worry about the alternity line being THAT difficult but i would say they are 'fiddley',though i doubt you'll want to throw them across the room any time soon(poor poor wheeljack)

it does feel alot heavier than it looks..i was pleasantly surprised picking it up..the shoulder joints are a bit loose though..and im not sure how i feel on the head mold. But other than that really nice overall...im glad you posted up a vid..the figure is so tight in alt mode that i was afraid of breaking it when trying to transform it earlier.

I must say that the legs look quite tricky, and they also don't look quite as nice as some of the alternator toys. Stability looks very, very good though, I don't know if I'll buy this. Might check the other toys in the Alternity line before makign any decisions.

The legs actually have more tabs to peg together, they lock in and look much better that way. I'll do a reshoot later with the flip and post it up.

yeah there is a hole on one side and a peg on the other, they go into the hole/peg from the rear glass

I like the toy, but I haven't been a fan of this line (I'm including Alternators in this comment), mostly because of price and how easy it is to buy. I am impressed by the toy, meaning it must be expensive. Pity, but still, great to see (hear) you again.

Just a thought on the lighting, is that a window behind you? If so, it's a simple backlighting issue. The white walls you used before were your best backdrop. Welcome back dude. Missed ya.

True, be backlight is so string that it renders the foreground dark. You could use studio lights to compensate, but it'd be better if you just avoid filming behind a window :)

Yeah, I'm still working on the lighting. It looked just fine while I was shooting, I think something happens during the youtube conversion. I may buy a new spot lamp for future videos.
