Beautiful and inspirational... I, too, was once wrong about alot of things before I ventured up into the High Sierra to walk above the treeline and commune, like John Muir, high up into "the great fresh unblighted, unredeemed wilderness." What I learned backpacking the Sierra was that the sun does shine even when it rains and that we learn alot about ourselves and each other once we dare get alone in the deep wilderness. Thanks for this... it reminded me of sacred places that I know and love.
