  • Damn, sei whales move like torpedoes!

  • HOW DO THEY GET FOOTAGE LIKE THIS

  • @BeamishBloom I'm pretty sure some of it is artificial.

  • @Chris73194 None of it's artificial (unless you're being sarcastic). As they said in the "Making Waves" episode, you have to be in the right place at the right time. And they also followed whales (that helps).

  • Wonderful creature! i just hope they don't step in extinction

  • So beautiful and amazing!

  • wow

  • its not its 14 metres long not forty :)

  • its a hybrid of that one bird and a whale and the bird that can stretch its throat

  • i dnt get this i saw a video of a blue whale and it said the blue whale is the biggest animal that ever lived on earth the guy said it was 30 meters long but this 1 is way smaller and its 40 meters long ?

  • @blackwinter35 its 14 meters lol

  • its its its its its its JAWS!!!!!!! SWIM AWAY AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • haha that whale knows how to smoke ocean water :D

  • I kept worrying about the camera man. "Look out, there's a HUGE whale about to FALL on your head! SWIM! SWIIIIIM!"

  • 1) So? Sources cite older estimates all the time.

    2) Your point? Big difference between 400 and 54,000. Japanese have caught more than 400 in the last decade. Guess there's none now, huh? Used to be a few hundred thousand. What random town/city you gonna mention next for that figure?

  • LOL. The whale Just ruined the party

  • this is the 3rd largest whale, so you can imagineit would be pretty scary

  • @FrenchBulldogWinston Try third longest rorqual, and eighth or nineth largest whale (largest humpback might have been bigger).

  • Say whale?

  • @Supercucu123 Sei Whale

  • the feeding frenzy reminds miie about watching FINDING NEMO when i was young. Haha, they were super funny....

  • NOM.

  • The Sei is a beautiful creature. Sadly, only 400 are known to be left in existence, yet unbelievably whalers are still hunting them.... Sei is the same species which showed up on the plates of this years Oscar winners from the film "The Cove" at a Santa Monica restaurant owned by Typhoon's inc "The Hump".

  • @cetaceanaid More like an estimated 54,000 worldwide.

  • @deasinroo Ok, so he's a bit off. Still, (for one) that number you cited is five years old, and (for two) it's about equivalent to the population of the town of Brookline Massachusetts. Have you heard of Brookline? Me neither.

  • I'm soooo glad I'm not one of those little fishies o_O

  • great footage, btw how fast is that whale??

  • owned.

  • He's pretty quick for being so huge.

  • I love the Blue Planet. Attenboroughs the best! Apparently this whale is the fastest species in the sea

  • @thelukos The fastest is the fin whale. It is like a sei whale, but blue and is the second largest whale at 27 meters long. The sei is the second fastest. It is amazing how fast these giant creatures can go. I believe it makes a brief appearance in the blue planet, since I own the disc set and watched all the episodes back to back not to long ago. ( P.S Not trying to boast)

  • AMAZING shots!!

  • This is like Srebrenica. Only here I feel sorry for the victims LOL!

  • the whale looks shiny like steel!!

  • whales are cool lol

  • im seen and listen noise under sea by sensor the whale 20 000 kh/Z
