@attackandresattack: Yes! Not all but some have a build in alarm that will go off if you try to open them like this. And it's hard to tell which ones have it and which ones don't. You can't tell by size or appearance - even very small ones can have it - so you better not apply this newly learned skill inside a shop... Oh and of course if you try to leave the store without removing them they will also set off the alarm - but that should be obvious...

hey, the best way to get security hard tags off, and i can do it in 18 seconds, so heres what u do, burn the top with a torch lighter for like 10 seconds or so until its all strecthy/stringy like how burned plastic gets. take small pliers and pull or scrape the top off to gtet a view at the inside then u take your small plires and rip out the aluminum cylinder and voila, your done. only use this method if the store clerk for got to take it off, dont try it in the change room ;-)

@Ryan0Ebbers Nope, the tag in this video is a gator tag, it doesn't beep when you remove it. There is a certain kind of tag the sets off an alarm when you tamper too much with it, but I've never actually seen one in a store before

There is no excuse to stealing or putting a video up on how to remove hard tags, just take it back to the store of purchase so an employee can remove it for u, instead of damaging your item.

If this method doesnt work, then try using a flat tool like a flat head screw driver or paint pealer and stick it between the pin and the article of clothing and just pry it off! No ink came out and it worked perfectly for me! :)

I got a suit from Calvin Klein outlet in Cabazon and they left the tag on the pants. Now I can only wear the jacket and the pants is been sitting in my closet for about 7 months hoping that I'll go there again. 80 miles from my house. The tag is dark and the plastic is so tough to be bent. No way to bend it. What would you suggest?
