Or the red cross is operating on the border of rawanda or something.
Look the tutsis did bad shit to the Hutus first and they wanted revenge for there country is that so bad ? its not there fault the tutsis did bad to them first, so they seek revenge...but yet there is no good or bad guys...Genocide shouldnt even be allowed why couldnt the world just be in peace and help eachother out for disasters like haiti and chile from earthquakes ??
seriously? you evidently have based your opinion on bullshit media, especially RTLM crap so shut the fuck up. How did we wrong the bahutu? How? Tell me you worthless fuck?
U r right. There is no justification for vengence on people not related to events that happened 50 years prior. The Hutu extremists did wrong. Lord bless the souls of rwanda. My eyes fill with tears as I type. The world failed Rwanda. Lord bless Rwanda!!!
fruthermore then ven if ur right, lets assume the falshood of the said statement to be true, then how do you justify revenge upon people who had absolutely nothing to do with it then? The monarchy fell in 1957, its 1994! what the fuck is wrong with you?
Heivens, as much as I admire your statement on education, remember that Germany and Japan were two of the most sophisticated and well educated societies in the world and that did not stop the genocides in Eastern Europe against Jews, Slavs, and Gypsies or the Rape of Nanking. Education, in the words of Niall Ferguson, "can not inoculate barbarity".
@TheOnlyLoneSolja Its a shame to think that this country with all its resources knew the jews were dieing in WW2 and saw europe being destroyed by a monster but didnt do jack shit untill its people were harmed. I guess maybe if the bastards had taken a few americans and slaughtered them then america or someone would have gotten off there ass and done something. they want america to do everything but what about hte other countryes..were the fuck were they also?
@alessandra13italia14 Yeah...it sucks how the peacekeeping troops were basically forced into not doing anything due to poor funding from the UN. It was estimated that only 300 million dollars would have been needed to substantially stop/prevent most of the genocide. In the end over 1.4 billion was spent in humanitarian aid for something that could have been prevented.

Of the Red Cross in WWII - they knew what was going on, they were there and duly reported it.. Up until the 1980's they said that around 150,000 Jews had died in concentration camps of disease and hunger. I believe that is true. They did not mention the gassings or the 6 million because they did not exist! Was the mentality of the doctor and carer so different 60 years ago so s not to mention the killing of miilions of people?!? Absurd!
Like the preacher said it was the (d)evil taking over brainwashing them. I just can't understand otherwise how people could do something like this. America just cowarded out because of they see how hard it was fighting in Africa (Somalia), afraid of losing soldiers and economic reasons..
Hey we are recording our own ghost stories... we want to see if ghost actually exist. Subscribe to our channel so we can let you know when the next video is out. We are filming this weekend! The location is secret until we return on Sunday the 9th!
e907550: YOU decide nothing fucking idiot and YOU don't understand nothing that happens around you and with you, joe six fucking pack and this is why this world is so wrong and things like this keep happening.
At 5:16 The solution, or a little something that helped the situation was when the BBC brought publicity to the issue of 6 red cross patients being killed, and so, embarassing the extremists...then at least the red cross were able to save a couple hundred more.
It's what they wish were true, even though it isn't.
That's where the idea of heaven and hell comes from, that for whatever kind of person you are, you'll get your just desserts in the hereafter. ...unless, there is no hereafter, and when we die there is only silent black nothingness. (That's what I think)
[Disturbing honesty from the journalist at 3:50 seconds.]
Fortunately there is a hereafter, God restores and heals after humanity destroys. And that is why, nihilism is inherently wrong. Justice does prevail, good does conquer evil, because that hate eventually converts.
The United States government has beeN complacent. I honestly don`t think it matters about who is President--I hope Obama proves differantly.
Clinton and the UN allowed 800,000 men, women and children to die at the hands of machete`s
George Bush,Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolvowitz are responsible for over 4000 American troops dead and over 150,000 men, women and children dead.
Obama won't prove to be any different. Also, the death toll in the middle east by the previous adminstrations of civilians is closer to 600,000 and that is conservative. Some suggest closer to 1,000,000.
And the so called super powers watched on tv this happening just like they are watching now 5 millions women and children killed in dr congo. in 21 century!!! shame
mastki2000, Africans displayed to superpowers that they want to manage themselves. They got what they wanted: independence. If you want to go to Africa and risk your life policing that people do it yourself.
than stop calling yourself leaders of the world. you have power than walk by where kids are being killed!!! what power you have? just go and bomb rodomly that's what you call power?
Ok idk if its me but i just saw something that freaked me out. When this part starts look at ur right...theres like this white spot that moves, looks like something crawling on the walls
it's interesting to see how they use accents in this documentary. the victims are usually translated by an american voice, the people who committed the massacre have some sort of african accent.
White man was just as bad. We created the division in the first place, then fucked off and kept the fuck quiet, just like the Red Cross Guy was saying. We were in a position not to let evil prevail. We did fuck all. White men are equally responsible mate
This Rwanda issue is a good example of the foreign policies that are to come if another low-value, self-centered, arrogant elitist, hypocrit democ-rat politician gets to power.
As a Rwandese and not necessary religious, I wish u kept religion out of this. I agree relegion has caused a lot of evil in the world but not this one. This purely ignorance on our part and being led by power hungry greed assholes (like the fool with a pistol in this clip).
you cannot possibly be a 49yo...lol. ur intelligence matches that of the retards at the local center in town. lol....go to hell scumbag, i hope some aborigene kill ur ass and rape ur baby son or daughter.
FUCK GOD, AND FUCK THE BIBLE! hey Cobe, u read the news in the past four days? one of the scumbag hutu priest just got life in jail...look for the news. oh n wait, the scumbag was being protected by the fucking vatican for ten years!
Just like the Nazi priests (and most evangelicals) supported Hitler's policies during the Holocaust.
But let's don't go far... most Evangelicals turned their backs to Dr. King when he asked for their support. They told him that he was out of "God's will" prompting a very famous letter by Dr. King.
What about the so called "founding fathers"? Slave owners who did not allow no one to vote but themselves or what about the secrecy from Catholic church leaders about sex abuse?
The US is run like a corporation by a crime syndicate for its own benefit? What in the living hell does that mean exactly? I get what you're trying to say, but let's hear some specific examples.
The problem is, people on here start giving their opinion with no factual basis, which is fine-but don't argue about things you don't know.
Cheez, should we have left an occupying force? Should we have gone in with tanks? Should we then have "set up a democracy?" Then as soon as we leave the slaughter takes place? You people say we should have done something but exactly what should have been done?
Do I not hear the constant stream of propaganda coming out of the US stating how much you guys are the beacon for democracy, how you help oppressed people?
FUCK YES the US and UN should've flown in tanks an troops, the entire reason for the EXISTENCE of the UN was to stop genocide and enforce peace.
And you can't "set up" democracy. It needs to be evolved into a society.
And to do that you neeeed: stability. And that's what the UN does.
Lets not all blame the USA. UK did absolutely nothing. Belgium ran away scared, pulling its 2,000 troops out. France aided the Hutu murderers and gave them military aid. China and Russia sat on their hands.
The only countries which did jack were Ghana, Tunisia, and Canada. Everyone else has blood on their hands....including the has been UK
I feel sorry for people like Blue-who turn genocide in Rwanda into an argument about American politics. That goes to show his infatuation with Americans. For someone who hates the US, he sure watches a lot of conservative American TV. About the genocide, I hope that Dalliare and Captain Mbaye are hailed as heros forever.
Yep. I'd block me too, if I were you. You got your ass whooped six ways to sunset. You had no facts and spit rhetoric about Bill O'Riely and the 'propaganda paddy wagon'. Whatever that is??? The fact is, the US has been fighting wars for more than 50 years now without a single nuke. We've used TWO in our history. So.. Once again.. You fall at the wrath of my keyboard. Later, ignorant, propagandist with no factual basis, moron.
dude chill, america isn't that great. your comments makes me feel like u believe in a Thousand Year American 'Reich'. btw berry isn't making very good points but neither are u, talking about factual basis but calling canadians names and generalising about them, bit weak innnit
Will someone please give us, the US at least a little bit of a fight? Please. There have got to be better armies out there. Why can't we have a challenge. This is like Canada fighting the rebels in Liberia. It would be no fight. The Liberians would destroy that block of ice in no time flat. The Tutsis put up a better fight than the dipshits to our north.
Still waiting for those charges to be given, blue. You seriously sound like some far, left-wing radical who gets all of his/her information from the internet and college students on the corner handing out leaflets promoting some independent presidential canidate. Get yourself some education and get to the facts.
It's called "artifical inflation" you jackass. Since you know nothing about economics, I'll help you out on this one. The dollar is weakened by the feds to increase exports while our trade is at a deficit. Get it now? The US Dollar is the International Monetary Unit
War crimes charges? Would you mind giving me the UN Security Resolution? Tell me, will these charges be held in a tribunal or the Hague? PLEASE.. You're grasping for straws. There are NO charges and never will. Who will challenge the US for fighting a bona fide war?
China? Ha ha.. China's economy depends on the US. Their currency floats against the dollar. Why would China want to destroy their largest customer? Not that they could. Their soldiers have no technology. The US would bury China in less than three months. Haven't you been watching the news? NOBODY can touch the US-especially China. China is far too weak. The Iraqis put up a better fight.
I just wonder about someone who comes onto a youtube page of GENOCIDE and talks about the war in Iraq... Seriously, take your hatred against the most powerful, wealthiest, most technologically advanced country in the world and put it on another page. Does anyone have anything to say about the MILLION of people who lost their lives?
First of all.. We ARE bombing countries.. Two of them, to be exact. About to be three if Iran doesn't shut thier mouths. Second of all, we CAN afford oil. In fact, if you knew anything at all, you'd know that the US is the largest consumer OF oil. Third, the fact that WE were attacked by Moslims in the Arab world should mean something as to why we're in Afghanistan and Iraq. Fourth of all.. You're still an ignorant idiot.
Good comeback. Ouch.. You really got me there. Dumbass.. Well, looks like I won that one. When you come up with a real argument and have something other than your hurt feelings, come back at me. Until then, who cares. You're a nobody living in a country full of nobodies. Still can't believe Dalliare is a Canadian.. Later, dumbass..
One more thing, Blue. If you're referring to the genocide in Rwanda with your "this was AMERICANS" comment, you must not have paid any attention. The situation in Rwanda goes back to the pre-colonial period where the Belgiumers sorted the Rwandans and a neighbouring country, by the physical characteristics. So why don't you idiodic Canadian pussies stop trying to be like England on one side and France on the other of your country and realise that France was behind the genocide. NOT America.
WOW, belgiumers?!, some neighbouring country?! LoL, BTW how come no1 seems to remember that GErmany yes indeed, germany colonised and introduced this racial whatever u call it. The other countries are Burundi (Urundi) and Congo. Don't try to be smart if u clearly don't know that much about "belgian" colonial history, which is the cause of this genocide according to some pll
I love this blueberry guy.. What a joke. Americans are cowards, yet his page is full of American movies, books, ect. Then, he's on the internet, invented by Americans-sitting somewhere in Canada-whose economy depends on America, living in a socialist-like country who's broke from their piss poor medical system. Tell me, Blue.. Does your army have any guns? Or do you fight with.. wait... Canada can't fight shit..
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" Edmund Burke (1729-1979)
"He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it" Martin Luther King Jr.
that allowed people like the ones in the red cross to live in a hell hole of a world like ours.
to heal in a world like ours.
to live in a world with so much hate and suffering..
im glad that people like that exist to show our future generations and our forefathers: there is still some compassion, some love, something worth remembering- in the human race
all governments that didn't help to those people are the biggest murderers!!!they had the possibility to stop the genocide and save those lives but they did pretend not to see and hear.how can a human being so numb!!!please explain!!!
It's hard to believe that you are so easily manipulated!! The Tutsis massacred the Hutu's in 1972: the only constant is that the waste does nothing. Shame on the MANIPULATED west!!
It's not the West who killed anyone. Don't blame the West for a civil war that has been brewing for decades now. If you blame the West, perhaps you don't know what happened? If you want to blame the West, start with France and end with Belgium.
Who told u that Tutsis have killed Hutus in 1972? During this period Tutsis were oppressed buy a racist hutu goverment, get informed before giving your comment
No-one "told me"; this isn't controversial: it's a matter of public record. In Burundi in 1972 the Tutsis ordered the extermination of 150,000 Hutus. It was a revenge attack for the Hutus attempting a coup in 1965 and also for the many killings of Tutsis for which they had been responsible. The fact is that the issue in Africa is very complicated and to reduce it to HUTU = bad, TUTSI = good is just lazy and unintelligent.
@Alceste1977 in 1972 the hutus started attacking tutsis and even hutus they considered traitors- then the tutsi army retalliated killing an estimated 80000-210000 hutus in a clampdown on hutus- im not saying its ok- but the hutus started both genocides
Uh, we Americans didn't vote for Bush because we're afraid. We voted for Bush because he put an end to all the attacks happening on Americans. I can guarantee you this-if Bush were President during Rwanda's genocide, he would have done something... Mogadishu or not. Look at what he did in Liberia.
God Bless all Rwandans and Ivorians. Don't worry... The French will meet their makers..
@josie987654321 so where was god while women babies and men were hacked to death- same with the jews- god missed two big chances to step in and stop evil!!!1
It's kind of hard to imagine that the Hutu civilians were so easily manipulated. There must have been long-standing racism, because it should take more than a few radio transmissions to convince someone to murder their next-door neighbor.

fruthermore then ven if ur right, lets assume the falshood of the said statement to be true, then how do you justify revenge upon people who had absolutely nothing to do with it then? The monarchy fell in 1957, its 1994! what the fuck is wrong with you?

Heivens, as much as I admire your statement on education, remember that Germany and Japan were two of the most sophisticated and well educated societies in the world and that did not stop the genocides in Eastern Europe against Jews, Slavs, and Gypsies or the Rape of Nanking. Education, in the words of Niall Ferguson, "can not inoculate barbarity".

alessandra13italia14 8 months ago
@alessandra13italia14 Yeah...it sucks how the peacekeeping troops were basically forced into not doing anything due to poor funding from the UN. It was estimated that only 300 million dollars would have been needed to substantially stop/prevent most of the genocide. In the end over 1.4 billion was spent in humanitarian aid for something that could have been prevented.

@TheOnlyLoneSolja Wow, that makes everything even worse :/ It's just a terrible moment in history and in humanity. :/

Absurd!

It's what they wish were true, even though it isn't.
That's where the idea of heaven and hell comes from, that for whatever kind of person you are, you'll get your just desserts in the hereafter. ...unless, there is no hereafter, and when we die there is only silent black nothingness. (That's what I think)

The United States government has beeN complacent. I honestly don`t think it matters about who is President--I hope Obama proves differantly.
Clinton and the UN allowed 800,000 men, women and children to die at the hands of machete`s
George Bush,Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolvowitz are responsible for over 4000 American troops dead and over 150,000 men, women and children dead.
vivecavh 3 years ago
Obama won't prove to be any different. Also, the death toll in the middle east by the previous adminstrations of civilians is closer to 600,000 and that is conservative. Some suggest closer to 1,000,000.

The problem is, people on here start giving their opinion with no factual basis, which is fine-but don't argue about things you don't know.
eweiler460 4 years ago
Eweiler, you're right. Idiots just blame and bash the US for everthing.
mulax01 4 years ago
Well, the fact remains that the US, EU and UN should've done something about this.
They could've.
face it, Clinton and Annan closed their eyes to blatant genocide.
CheeezMaster 4 years ago 5
Cheez, should we have left an occupying force? Should we have gone in with tanks? Should we then have "set up a democracy?" Then as soon as we leave the slaughter takes place? You people say we should have done something but exactly what should have been done?
mulax01 4 years ago
Do I not hear the constant stream of propaganda coming out of the US stating how much you guys are the beacon for democracy, how you help oppressed people?
FUCK YES the US and UN should've flown in tanks an troops, the entire reason for the EXISTENCE of the UN was to stop genocide and enforce peace.
And you can't "set up" democracy. It needs to be evolved into a society.
And to do that you neeeed: stability. And that's what the UN does.
CheeezMaster 4 years ago 4

Lets not all blame the USA. UK did absolutely nothing. Belgium ran away scared, pulling its 2,000 troops out. France aided the Hutu murderers and gave them military aid. China and Russia sat on their hands.

eweiler460 4 years ago
Later, ignorant, propagandist with no factual basis, moron.
eweiler460 4 years ago

dnbwhynot 3 years ago
Will someone please give us, the US at least a little bit of a fight? Please. There have got to be better armies out there. Why can't we have a challenge. This is like Canada fighting the rebels in Liberia. It would be no fight. The Liberians would destroy that block of ice in no time flat. The Tutsis put up a better fight than the dipshits to our north.
eweiler460 4 years ago
Still waiting for those charges to be given, blue. Get yourself some education and get to the facts.
eweiler460 4 years ago
It's called "artifical inflation" you jackass. Since you know nothing about economics, I'll help you out on this one. The dollar is weakened by the feds to increase exports while our trade is at a deficit. Get it now? The US Dollar is the International Monetary Unit
eweiler460 4 years ago
War crimes charges? Would you mind giving me the UN Security Resolution? Tell me, will these charges be held in a tribunal or the Hague? PLEASE.. You're grasping for straws. There are NO charges and never will. Who will challenge the US for fighting a bona fide war?
eweiler460 4 years ago 2
China? The Iraqis put up a better fight.
eweiler460 4 years ago
I just wonder about someone who comes onto a youtube page of GENOCIDE and talks about the war in Iraq... Seriously, take your hatred against the most powerful, wealthiest, most technologically advanced country in the world and put it on another page. Does anyone have anything to say about the MILLION of people who lost their lives?
eweiler460 4 years ago
First of all.. We ARE bombing countries.. Two of them, to be exact. About to be three if Iran doesn't shut thier mouths. Second of all, we CAN afford oil. In fact, if you knew anything at all, you'd know that the US is the largest consumer OF oil. Third, the fact that WE were attacked by Moslims in the Arab world should mean something as to why we're in Afghanistan and Iraq. Fourth of all.. You're still an ignorant idiot.
eweiler460 4 years ago
lol well maybe ur second fact has something to do with why the US is in Iraq (and afghanistan; geo-politics, baby!)
dnbwhynot 3 years ago

eweiler460 4 years ago
One more thing, Blue. If you're referring to the genocide in Rwanda with your "this was AMERICANS" comment, you must not have paid any attention. The situation in Rwanda goes back to the pre-colonial period where the Belgiumers sorted the Rwandans and a neighbouring country, by the physical characteristics. So why don't you idiodic Canadian pussies stop trying to be like England on one side and France on the other of your country and realise that France was behind the genocide. NOT America.
eweiler460 4 years ago
WOW, belgiumers?!, some neighbouring country?! LoL, BTW how come no1 seems to remember that GErmany yes indeed, germany colonised and introduced this racial whatever u call it. The other countries are Burundi (Urundi) and Congo. Don't try to be smart if u clearly don't know that much about "belgian" colonial history, which is the cause of this genocide according to some pll

Alceste1977 4 years ago
It's not the West who killed anyone. Don't blame the West for a civil war that has been brewing for decades now. If you blame the West, perhaps you don't know what happened? If you want to blame the West, start with France and end with Belgium.
eweiler460 4 years ago
I blame the west because they have a commitment to genocide legislation after the Holocaust and they broke the law by not acting on Rwanda sooner.
Alceste1977 4 years ago 2
Who told u that Tutsis have killed Hutus in 1972? During this period Tutsis were oppressed buy a racist hutu goverment, get informed before giving your comment
didyvox1984 3 years ago
No-one "told me"; this isn't controversial: it's a matter of public record. In Burundi in 1972 the Tutsis ordered the extermination of 150,000 Hutus. It was a revenge attack for the Hutus attempting a coup in 1965 and also for the many killings of Tutsis for which they had been responsible. The fact is that the issue in Africa is very complicated and to reduce it to HUTU = bad, TUTSI = good is just lazy and unintelligent.
Alceste1977 3 years ago 2
@Alceste1977 in 1972 the hutus started attacking tutsis and even hutus they considered traitors- then the tutsi army retalliated killing an estimated 80000-210000 hutus in a clampdown on hutus- im not saying its ok- but the hutus started both genocides
