Sorry to be rude, but if you paid attention, you'd know I wasn't going for points, as I don't like the scoring system in the game! I like action, not replaying the same stage over and over to know where are the best places to use the charge shot!

Nah, not quite. I do like this game, but if you listened a bit more carefully, I basically said that SFX 2 was merely much better compard to this because of 100% "All Range Mode" etc. Thanks for your concern, though! I hope I cleared things up a bit.

Ugh! Don't ever mention Adventures! It's like the "Contra Force" of StarFoX! Don't get me wrong. It's not a bad game, it just doesn't play like SFX should. It plays a LOT more like Zelda! As for assault, it's great! It's just a little too short and I'm yet to play command yet but it looks like it follows SFX2's formula!

Hmmm...this is probably going to be a retarded question, but is Lylat Wars a separate game from Star Fox 64? Or, is it the same game, just titled different for a different region of the world (since I'm for the United States, because I looks like the same game as Star Fox 64.

So you know of the move after u destroy the 1st boss...Nice. And U say u havant played it for very long!? Dude u really got to stop ripping on the game for being "easy". Those power-ups are alot harder to keep in the later levels - U should try Expert mode, then u'll see a big diffrence.

There is nothing wrong with that system of destroying multible targets! It requires more skill and is really satisfing to pull off! By this I mean if u dont hit the right enermy, u wont destory the entire squadran in 1 shot. It takes alot of skill to be consistant at this! And if ur not good at earning the medals! Well then, ur proofing that the game is not exactly "easy."

I like the first star fox more because it gives you much more of a challenge and the music really suits the game. What i don't like about the new star fox games is theres far to many characters and your not always flying the arwing.
I love the music to the SNES version. The Corneria Sound track for that is like 1 of the best Ive ever heard. But you cant turn around and say that the Lylat Wars sound tracks arn't excellent! Yeah there are some pretty lame characters in Starfox Adventures, StarFox assult and StarFox Command. I mean Peppys daughter and Slippys Girl Friend! I mean! Come on!!! Yeah the boss music is awesome! They even released a Star Fox soundtrack on CD with all the in-game music on it. Oh I would so love to own one of those super rare soundtracks.. *drools*
But I've actually seen some errors with graphics on VC with Starfox 64. Namely in Solar where the Lava is supposed to be Orange but on VC it looks brown. I still have the original cartridge though.
Man this game is a classic. The gameplay,voice acting and difficulty are all perfect. It also introduced the rumble pack when it was released. I remember playing this game for hours on end and the alternate routes and "Expert" mode made it better! Also: All-range mode is only on certain bosses and levels. :P
Yeah, I know. I acted suprised to make it look like a bad thing. Let's face it, it is a slap in the face when StarFoX 2 had all-range mode throughout the entire game.
Well technically this is a remake of the first Starfox game not a sequel but I do agree that the game would be alot more fun it you were in "All-range" mode in every level. Why did they scrap SFOX2?! Hopefully they'll release it on the VC sometime,but I'm not holding my breath,damn you Nintendo!! D:

This game is really good but i still prefer the first one (good example that graphics don't always make a game better). When you unlock expert mode the game will throttle you! Yeah, I know. I acted suprised to make it look like a bad thing. Let's face it, it is a slap in the face when StarFoX 2 had all-range mode throughout the entire game.

Well technically this is a remake of the first Starfox game not a sequel but I do agree that the game would be alot more fun it you were in "All-range" mode in every level. Why did they scrap SFOX2?! Hopefully they'll release it on the VC sometime,but I'm not holding my breath,damn you Nintendo!! D:

Too right, mate! I can't believe they scrapped SFX2 for the release of the N64! I'm not holding my breath, either, because nintendo isn't workig with argonaut anymore!

Yeah but Star Fox 2 sucked... thats why it never got released because it sucked to much. Hell even Top Gun for the NES was better!

Andross, you evil head! Don't ever drink all of the coffee again! I gotta say, Charles Martinet is a very good choice for a voice actor in my opinion, at least he sounds better than the guy who voice acted Hotel Mario.

I love your walkthroughs they are so funny. :P I Remember getting this for my birthday back in 1997 ahhhh memories of the good ol days. This game is really good but i still prefer the first one (good example that graphics don't always make a game better). When you unlock expert mode the game will throttle you! Fantastic walkthrough Arwingpilot i'm looking forward to watching the rest of it!!! :-)
