@BASSPLAYE17 That's pretty much their price right now. For a cheaper option, I'd check out the Canon 5D Mark II, or the Canon 7D. They're DSLRs that also shoot 1080 24p video, and they use real lenses. They have some disadvantages vs. full body cameras like the EX-1...but the cheapest model is the Canon T2i, which is about $900 and will give you great quality depending on what you want to shoot
