Outrunner motor have big advantages over inrunner, u can modify the winding, add more magnet, more runtime and have bulit in fan, no need heatsink. I usually use a boat esc since u can set the timing, don't know about car's esc. Inrunner motor u can't modify beside change the bearings.

Lol, you are thinking of inrunners. Look up "outrunner" motors and you will see why it is strange he is using an outrunner (if he truly is)

i know what an outrunner is...
its not difficult to install. its quite common. some 1/8-e conversdions use them.
