Amanda made her traps inescapable because unlike Jigsaw she did'nt believe those who escaped them changed for the better. Jigsaw never actually killed anyone but forced people into situations whence they must kill others or hurt themselves to escape. Amanda by comparison was a simple killer. Of course They're both pretty twisted phychotic people but I prefer jigsaw because he gave people a chance.
