This info is incorrect supplementing even after the first few weeks can create problems. It can sabotage a breastfeeding relationship due to supply and demand another reason for not microwaving bottles is that the bpa in the plastic will leach into the formula at high temperatures. , With the melamine poisoning occuring I'd avoid formula,if you are in the 2% who cannot breastfeed try to get donor milk from a milk bank.
I have given my daughter a breast milk for atleast 1 month... As i am undergoing a medication then i have to stop. So i started giving her a formula milk which is NAN H.A.
it's a good milk though... Nothing bad happened and she gained more weight...
Formula is a million (maybe billion) dollar industry. They have convinced so many people that formula is harmless for a baby and almost as good as breastmilk, right? WRONG! Formula is not good for babies and it's sad that the formula industry does everything in it's power to try and sabotage the breastfeeding relationship right from the start with a gift bag in the hospital filled with free formula.
Just putting my two cents in, breast feeding is better than formula. Don't base your decision on hearsay and gossip. Learn the facts and give your child your best.
