  • yeaaahhh such a smooth track , love it !

  • 5 Stars! Hi5! Take 5!

  • dave brubekc mofockers!!!

  • He played this track last night at Cadenza Vagabundos party in Bucharest people went crazy.

  • ueee dude...the name is wrong !!! is CESAR MERVEILLE... not maravillas !! lol

  • the sickest!

  • very GREAT track but is not original, the real track is "TAKE FIVE - THE DAVE BRUBECK QUARTET"

old school music is the best music!

  • buffffffffff

  • Funny reading the whole vinyl vs digital arguement. I started with vinyl 25 years ago and stuck with it as my sole medium until 2 years ago. Now I'll rock both analogue/digital. Traktor Pro for new digital releases but also using 1210's when the set requires a long held vinyl classic.

At the end of the day it's not what you play with, it's how you play...

  • awesome track :D

  • wow...nice nice niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :) 5 *

  • I fucking hate vinyl-only releases! :((

  • @alekzzzz maybe you should be a proper dj then and use vinyl :) that's why i have this in my collection

  • @hugo70 vinyl is inconvenient -- I don't

care about what vinyl snobs say

  • @alekzzzz how are they inconvenient?! 95% of all techno and house DJ's all use vinyl and release on vinyl, so maybe you should tell them its inconvenient too?! Vinyl was the first way of pressing music, not digital. Vinyl has such a better clarity than digital cos they fuck around with it trying to better the quality. So maybe you should tell all the techno and house DJ's you probably listen to, to stop being "inconvenient" then.

  • @hugo70 I understand that there are some vinyl purist DJs still out there (Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Vath, and so on). I know that vinyl sounds really good. But: 1. Vinyl is heavy. Can't take 10000 vinyl records on the road with you, can ya? 2. Vinyl melts 3. Vinyl scratches 4. Vinyl is limited as to how you can manipulate the track during playback 5. I'd like to do a blind test so you tell the difference between a vinyl record and a WAV -- doubt you could do it.
  • @alekzzzz Mate, when would you ever take TEN THOUSAND cd's with you?! CD's can scratch and melt just as easy as a vinyl can so you can't really say that. And yeh if you want a "blind test" go for it, i worked at Berghain as a sound technician there and studied music for the past 15 years. Thats what makes vinyl so special, searching for it and finally finding it. Using cd's is boring and too easy, you have everything displayed for you, use vinyl and it shows how much skill you have when you mix

  • @hugo70 I'm not advocating for CDs. I'm talking about playing from the laptop with some kind of control system (maybe even your precious control vinyls). I guess one of the major points of your argument for vinyl is that it's so damn hard to find that when you do, you have a mini-orgasm throughout your body. I agree, my reaction to getting a good track online is more subdued. If you want to stay "authentic" no matter what, why don't you ride horse and buggy and use pigeons 2 send messages
  • @hugo70 ...while I embrace the digital

    revolution.

  • @hugo70 ultimately, to me music is not

"physical", it's not an object you can "own" -- it's an emotion, a direct pathway to the soul.

and so if the format I use is not inferior

quality-wise, I'm all for the convenience!

  • @hugo70 95% of all techno and house

DJ's do NOT use vinyl -- check your stats.

  • @hg7 I used to play vinyl, but I got sick of dealing with 'out of stock' issues. If there's a track out there that I like I want to have the ability to buy it and play it and not deal with "limited edition" & "out of stock" bullshit. By the way, I've heard so many guys that were the original house music producers / DJs (who, I'm sure, care A LOT about quality) say that they've switched to digital long time ago due to convenience of the format. What's good enough for them is good enough for me

  • mega!!

  • Finest killer track !!! @+ ;)

  • I need the master!!

  • sick tune, heard it on la ruta del sol

  • the original song of dave brubeck is also very beautiful

  • Original: Dave Brubeck | Take Five (Jazz-Classic)

  • -absolutley great track. cant find it on vinyl- (id prefer) - neither digital (320() -anyone knows a solution...??

  • maybe vinyl shops ? or buy it on vinyl from the internet :-??

  • @sosickofme

Buy the original,The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Take Five (1961) and but a simple house beat under it.

  • @DeZorgenkindjes No can do - the original is in 5/4 time (hence the name), it would be a total mess. Merveille has been quite clever to get the samples to work in 4/4, and even then, some of them still sound a bit wrong.

  • juno!!

  • I have the master but it can't be shared.. sorry

  • @philippkb u can have it on remake music (002) !

  • @philippkb did you find a 320version ?

  • @philippkb discogs.com

  • Lovely!

  • diabolic rhythm!!!

reminds me of the old house anthems from the late 80's and early 90's

  • i'm glad you enjoy it

  • @pelele83 man, this music is early 60's
