  • I like Triumph but this album was just god-awful!

  • It was cowritten by Neal Schon (Journey) great song. Triumph rocks !!!

  • The truth is, anybody who ever listened to more than one song on a Triumph album knows that they delved into many styles of music (bluegrass, classical, blues, jazz-blues, progressive rock, straight blues rock, etc.). In the 'eighties, no-nothing armchair critics reveled in claiming that everybody was selling out. Too bad most of you never grew out of it. In the end, only the artist can say whether he truly sold out. If he loved the music he was making, he didn't, no matter what you think.

  • @captnavenger They put on one of the best concerts i ever seen...

  • Love this video! Did you know the Eric Martin band did this also? ....he then went on to be the lead vocalist for Mr. Big. I heard the song by the EMB maybe around '84....It is also a great version.....check it out...and thanks for for posting this!

  • @RockFan4Ever2121 If I remember correctly, Eric Martin was one of this song's co-writers along with Neal Schon and one other, who's name escapes me at the moment...

  • Triumph really sold out themselves with this whole album. Not their style of music. They were just trying to make some money and not thinking of how they were ruining their reputation.

  • Actually this isn't early Triumph but later in their career. This was on The Sport of Kings album which would be one of the last two studio albums we would get from them. Surveillance was the last. A much lighter and softer side of the band trying to stay current with the times.

  • This was early Triumph they were trying different stuff, trying to break in to the American scene ( very comercial ) great Ballad!

  • I had this 45, and it was also on a compilation tape I bought...

  • dude... that aint TRIUMPH.

  • I absolutely love this song!

  • @Dancexinxmyxundi yes this IS Triumph- used to have the tape when it came out

  • Good ballad by them. Not what you would expect from Triumph.
