Need for speed underground came out in 2003 or something, not 2000. And the newer games actually suck. The older ones like high stakes, and NFS2SE were great. Blackbox killed need for speed with underground >_>
Actually, even the story in the new games is crappy. NFS was fun when you got to drive only European exotics along enormous tracks around the world, and where the slowest car went 170 mph. A lot of people share the same opinion about this. Also, there is no creativity in the new stories. They are all basically the same thing: You show up in a street racing gang trying to compete, then rise to the top with the help of a hot girl that EA picked out.
hey man you forgot one thing in most wanted they introduced the very fist old school muscle car the 1967 chevy camaro ss they expanded on this in carbon by adding more old cars and even more so as they went into pro street
Good job but you messed up some of your facts and you skipped a lot of great versions of NFS. What you call "Hot Pursuit 3" was the original Hot Pursuit - it was the 3rd game in the whole series.
The best part of NFS Carbon was the score.

the old ones were great. you can't bash an old game just because the graphics are bad by today's standards.
NFS Porsche (NFS5) was waaaay more realistic than undergrounds and especially crappy carbon.

You know NOTHING. There WASN'T a NFS HOT PURSUIT 3, because the actual order was:
NFS 1
NFS 2
NFS 3 HOT PURSUIT (1st edition)
NFS 4 HIGH STAKES
NFS 5 (Probably) HOT PURSUIT 2 and then came the Porsche one, and the rest of them!

No, that was need for speed 3: Hot pursuit. People seem to not be able to read the logo right. NFS3HP was the original hot pursuit. NFSHP3 is a myth.
