  • I wish the music can automatic replay again...

  • Though... I believe I've heard this song somewhere before.... Somewhere else...

  • This would sound a little better at a bit of a faster pace... But it's still good.

  • When this played at the end it just made everything seem so tranquil and peaceful.

  • If the running silhouette is not my favorite character, I often go back to the main menu and push ○ again.

  • I always practice this song in home...

  • way too damn short!

  • Saddest train ride in any game I've ever played-

    Why can't I take all my social link buddies with meeeeeee? ; u ;

  • I think this is actually called BRINK of Memories.

But thanks for posting... -stares for a moment and then starts tearing up- Why, oh why did he HAVE TO LEAVE!

  • @MemoryPhaseStudios Its the same when I play P3...WHY DOES MINATO HAVE TO DIEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

  • @MacrossAimo -cries with- Gosh..damn you Persona..making us cry and all...

  • @MemoryPhaseStudios -hugs and cries with...acting all like Risette all of a sudden- I want them back!

  • @MacrossAimo

    Game spoiler much?

  • @adruen19 Spoiler? Lolwut =x No one will know what I'm talking about unless they have played it. lololololol SHHHHH!

  • I just discovered this and I'm in love.

  • Start a new game?

    Me: Fuck yeah.

  • wow why am i tearing up???? Im glad im not the only one tho.... this game teaches so many things, how ppl can be totally different on the inside and not who u think they are in society! Life lessons FTW!

  • @yaoimaniac929 Might be looking a bit too deep into it but yeah. The writers did a top notch job on approaching those themes. They knew how to get players to care about these characters executed it almost flawlessly (would of been nice if main characters acted in the story depending on their S-Link levels but i can see why the developers couldn't do that and only did something kinda close to that in the end). And it does make some want to take a good look at ourselves as people.

  • Ach, Christ. I just made the connection between the titles of this and the rooftop ending theme in persona 3.

brb sitting alone with my tears.

  • After finishing this game on the true end and going back to the title screen, the part where it shows the MC's transparent silhouette running - I instead see a different shape. Turns out it was replaced with Chie's silhouette. Her, coupled with this music, adding a slightly different but pleasantly familiar element to the title screen I've seen so much... even after the credits, P4 still gave me one more reminder of why I love this game so much.

  • why does every persona game always reference how the end is always there...

  • @JHUB3R Persona 1: World is reincarnated.

    Persona 2 IS: Split dimension.

Persona 2 ET: Everyone is exploded and boomed but world is saved.

Persona 3: Protagonist gives up his/her life to sabe world but kind of doesn't and death was in vein.

    Persona 4: Sad goodbyes.

The end is kind of.. improtant?

  • @Jingle041 no i mean like the beginning theme always points toward the end. this music is resolving and peaceful therefore the ending of P4 was resolving in peaceful whilst Burn my dread had "Ticking clock" referring to how the MC has no time and must succumb to a fate worse than death where even death cannot save him

  • @Jingle041 The only one who gets off easily after saving the world from a crisis lol

  • @Jingle041 Why so emo....

P4 doesn't have a sad ending cuz he could visit inaba on vacation. And they are all contented on there on there goodbye cuz they sol..v... oh I know you got the super bad ending yeah that's kinda sad

  • @Jingle041 Or maybe you get the sad ending cuz you always press the O or X button or Hold the Triange button yeah that's kinda sad.......

  • this is nice! peace ^^

  • I love this

  • This is what im talking about if a games ending actually causes me to get a lump in my throat you know your good at getting people to actually care for the characters im serious i almost felt like crying too bad most games today cant do the same

  • Soooooo goooood

  • Comment removed

  • everyone that has got Persona 4 is happy

  • @denn93is ya we are :))

  • Meu Deus adoro essa musica mesmo ela me fazendo lembrar momentos ruins ela é otima

  • please pleeeeeeease make more games like that. we dont need no fuckin COD and shit like that.

  • @gabenovski They're making a fighting-game, a sequel, a remake, and remaking the previous game, and just released another one- "catherine"........... They ARE.

  • @Jingle041 Nahh man, you misunderstood me. I know about these projects. I'm talking about that kind of atmosphere, and story. I'm not just talking about Atlus and the Persona series. Peace.

  • Song: Gimmie your hearts!

Girl1:is that.. is that a like button?!

    Guy1: I'd HIT IT

  • chills. every. time. i. hear. this.

  • @Left4TeamFortress2

HINT: Kanji's dungeon is a lesson about how we fear to be who we really are, and push that down within because we are afraid of how people would react. I have a feeling you *should* finish that dungeon and really think about the message, not the content that leads to it.

  • @darklink2k9 true story. P4 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @darklink2k9 Message failed because 'lol I'm not REALLY gay! I'm FINE now!' Like Gayness was some sort of disorder.

  • @MagatsutheCalamity

Questioning your sexuality doesn't mean that you are automatically gay. Kanji's reasons weren't sexual, they were emotional.

  • @darklink2k9 Still ruined the underlying point. And then they acted like gayness was some sort of mental disease with that stupid comedic shit during the camping trip.

  • @Left4TeamFortress2 That's a darn shame, your narrow-mindedness is preventing you from enjoying a wonderful game.

  • @Raikujo well when u got your whole family watchin you it just felt weird as fuge

  • @Left4TeamFortress2

I suppose it feels weird as 'fuge' to live in a world where homosexuals are everywhere too. I hope your family is not watching when you go on with your everyday life, imagine the shame!

    Seriously, dude?

  • @Left4TeamFortress2 Now please correct me if I'm wrong, it's just I get the feeling that your 10 years old.

  • @KirkJohnson34 nope 20

  • @Left4TeamFortress2 well you can always play that part when noones watching, its not a big deal

  • And no one survived that night...

    Continue?

  • I cried

  • ah jeez, these ost's bring back so many memories... played p3:FES, p4 and just finished P3P.. GIVE ME MOAR ATLUS!!! >=DD

  • My experience of P4: you go through all these moments, good and bad, and then once the final battle is done, you think "it's over, huh?" but wait, you see that you can start another playthrough, you can get Ishtar again and you still have that signed photo from your relationship with Rise, you still keep the Knowledge, Courage, etc. that you got spending time with your friends and family, and you come to realize that those relationships meant something 'cries man tears'

  • 0:44 BEST PART DEFINATELY!

  • play this while rainymooddotcom in the background

  • I'm sooo happy I finally beat the game! The end was amazing.. I teared up..

  • "Please don't forget about us over there!"

That made me tear up. Naoto!!

  • @Kxisxmyxbf Lol me too. XD

  • @WolfoftheDM

Naoto's just..the best. Yup. than chie!

  • can't wait for the anime, hope they use the same ost from the game o_o

  • "Distance doesn't matter to us! Even though we're separated, we're still friends!"

    *I start crying*

    Damn you, Yosuke.

  • @StrifeAxel Bullshit crap typical of JRPGs

  • @MagatsutheCalamity JRPGs like to stick to a certain formula. And the only reason they do it because it's a winning formula that everyone loves. Ever notice how every single Greek tragedy is constructed the same way? Because people like it that way. I'll give you one thing though, JRPGs can be wayyy too melodramatic. Sometimes to the point where it's ridiculous.

  • @StrifeAxel Every other Atlus JRPG practically breaks certain JRPG cliche traditions. DDS? Killed off everybody. Nocturne? Let you pick your idea of a world. Strange Journey? Had no JRPG cliches. Devil Survivor? Gameplay's pretty fucking unique. Persona 4? JRPG cliches to a T.

  • @MagatsutheCalamity Well, even though it has its cliches, it's still a part of Shin Megami Tensei, already distinguishing itself from other typical RPGs. I'd say gameplay of P3 and P4 are very unique twists of the whole typical "fire beats ice/lightning beats water gameplay". Also, most JRPGs don't flesh out stories of side characters, where P4 does it pretty well with Social Links. There weren't any unforgivable cliches like "main character with amnesia who's destined to save the world".

  • @StrifeAxel Well, Minato in 3 was kind of "main character with partial amnesia destined to maybe destroy the world" He was kind of oblivious to everything in the opening :X

  • @NuclearParadox Haha you definitely got me there. Completely forgot about Minato xD. But as you said, it was only partial. I think he only forgot about the day his parents died and Aigis sealed Ryoji inside of him. Besides that, he was a normal high school student, no?

  • @StrifeAxel I don't know if "normal" if the right word. He was a bit of a corporate emo mute with death itself living inside his head. But hey, what fun is there in being normal right?

  • @NuclearParadox LOL. Well said. Though he was never really mute. Every dialogue choice you make in the game, he does say technically. And I never really saw him as emo. Just very lazy, much like myself. You can even make him out to be a huge pimp with the right decisions. But I do agree. Being normal is absolutely no fun.

  • I love this song, it's so sad. And that's coming from someone who for some reason had a profound dislike for most of the characters in the game :P

  • I only looked at the FAQ for the quizzes that I have in school :p Other than that, boss fights and relationships are more fun to figure out by myself.

  • @BohemianBebop That's the whole point. I dont think you will be able to get all the s.links in one playthrough. But it doesnt matter. It enriches the sense of wonder. And since you cant get all s.links, you'd have to choose who you will be spending some time with which makes the experience more personal.

  • I pity those perfectionists who go straight to gamefaqs to see all the walkthroughs.

Forget that, play this game without any help at least once and the experience will be so much grander and most importantly, so much more personal.

    Trust me on that.

  • @anadus7 I am a perfectionist, I did not use Gamefaqs or any guides, 100%

  • When i firts have the game and i see this with this music i said..."i'll be a magical epic journy so let's rock!". qhen i was crying just for that song

  • Why is so short! :(

  • This theme emanates a soothing aua...the overall melody is quite uplifiting. All the same...this theme overwhelms me with sadness...not only because it emotes my feelings flawlessly...

...But because I had to say goodbye to some of the greatest well developed characters in Video Game history while listening to it. It is almost a "farewell" song. It felt like I (as a person) was truly moving away...and leaving good friends behind. Persona 4 (and 3) are simply masterpieces.

  • @sora364 I couldn't agree more with you... :)

P3 and P4 will always be a part of me, they're just so emotional. There's so many things for a teenager (like me) to relate to in those games. They're really special!

  • God, the title is so perfect...

  • @coolster couldn't agree more

  • persona 4 should be adapted into an anime, or an OVA at least... great cast

  • @matthewlax13 Looks like your wish is coming true. There's a countdown that is going to end soon for what appears to be a P4 anime announcement. Yep I'm serious, I jizzed pretty hard myself.

  • @matthewlax13 Your wish has been made real. We're getting Persona 4 The Animation now.

  • Continue: Return to Inaba

    >New Game : Begin your adventure

Thou art I and I am thou: Thou shalt be blessed when creating Personas of the Nostalgia Arcana

  • never more!

  • Why do I want to cry whenever I hear this? But in a good way.

  • Thank you for everything!

  • Thnk u !!! I LOVE IT :33

  • >You selected "Start Game".

    >You felt exciting with starting the game.

    >You felt epic when hearing to this song.

    >!

    >Aaron has forged a new bond with the title screen.

  • @IgnacioCryptmaw :DDD ahah yeah !

  • can i touch your HANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD hehehehe

  • Rise: I LOVE YOU SENPAI

  • I love these instrumentals in this game.

  • i just realized that this is the intremental of the credits theme

  • @Fanzy35 The title screen theme.

  • @nonnatural Yeah i know but if you heard the p4 - never more, you will hear this theme.

  • @Fanzy35 the theme is recurring too.

  • Inaba might a well be Japan's Silent Hill.

  • @natzo89 Nah, that would be the place where Forbidden Siren takes place.

Inaba is not far off, though!

  • @natzo89 Dead bodies appear on foggy-days, often hung upside down, a massive god is behind it all - the murders, the people, everything. Kind of like the UFO/dog endings - and a 15-ish year old is going around in another world hitting things with a katana. It already is.

  • @natzo89 There are corpses found on foggy-days, there's a fucking other-world inside a TV, and a 15-ish year old boy is going around inside there hitting things with a katana.

    It already is.

  • tte people who disliked this video had horrible memories as a person that was an orphan

  • No need to be so serious. I'VE SEEN YOU NAKED

  • This song brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. I only need to hear it in my head.

  • i thought this game was fantastic and i hope they would make a 5th game for ps3 or watever

  • It has that Yoko Shimomura violin in there..

  • PERSONA 4 AND KINGDOM HEARTS 2 THE BEST !!

  • "Now, please sit back and enjoy the game."

  • @Agusloquillo Kinda hard to "sit back" when this game has you on the edge of your seat the whole time :p

  • Persona 4 and KH1 have the best titles

  • persona is the best game i ever played and i never forget final fantasy to thumbs up!

  • Each time I hear this theme, I want to cry... Man, this game surely is the best RPG I have ever played!

  • 0:43 - 1:00 i cried

  • I'm still holding out for Persona 4 Portable. I don't want to be limited to where I play this wonderful game. ;_;

  • @Jes7137 I know too well what you mean. ;_;

    HOLD ME.

  • I cried at the end. I don't know if I was happy or sad, I was tearing up while smiling. Well, off to go through it again. :D

  • This Persona game made me cry for minutes, so i hope that Persona 5 would make me cry for an hour..

  • It started on one day that i found there's no jpg left for me to play on ps3/xbox360/wii,

I picked up PE3 and 4 from garage sales, made iso file ,run pe3 on pcsx2

and BAM,12 hours ,24 hours ,two days, and i'm still playing it ,hooked to it like I once was, when jrpg are big trend of all consoles,

damn, thx you atlus ,you're truly great game company.

now i'm looking forward to catherine and pe5 badly

  • persona 4 is ps2 last epicnesss >.<

  • My god. Persona 3 and 4..the games that really just made me get all emotional about.

  • @NaotoShir0gane They're masterpieces, it's as simple as that. Games these days doesn't make me feel much at all most of the time, but when I, for the first time, started playing Persona 3 in a Playstation 2 a couple of months ago, I felt something. I really felt something. Persona 4 is one of the top five games I've ever had the pleasure to play, and I've played a lot of games!

  • @NaotoShir0gane God yes me too! And I don't even have the game, I've only watched Walktrhoughs of it!

  • @jaynhc oh man. No no no that's unacceptable..you have to PLAY through the game to really get the feeling :) Persona 3 and 4. I highly recommend them both! Great game, Great Series, enough said

  • @NaotoShir0gane Well, I don't have a PlayStation, sooo I don't know if I can get it! :( but I have a Wii

  • @jaynhc D: ouch..that suks. Well they do have the persona 3 for the psp :) um. If you ever do come across a PS2 and a Persona 3(or 4)...i think you know what to do

  • @NaotoShir0gane Well my dad has a PSP, but I do want the game

  • @jaynhc well if you do choose to go with the PSP then the one you can get is the P3P which is the one im going through right now actually :) Still a great game. I think its probably best if you play something like the regular P3 first, and then the P3 FES to really appreciate the changes that they made in P3 FES. I know i would've!

  • @jaynhc if you have PC you can also play it using emulator PCSX2 0.9.8, i played P4 using that and it ran so smooth!

  • @chukkyjr Cool! I might try that!

  • ahh, the intro song, excellent preperation and makes the player get ready for the brilliant road ahead..the persona world.

  • P4 Persona4

    >NEW GAME

    >>LOAD GAME

  • P5 P5 :D Cant Wait!

  • I actually like the ending to Persona 4 better then Persona 3, both endings made me cry like a baby, but Persona 4 was out of satisfaction and Happiness. while Persona 3 made me cry as well, it was more of sadness and satisfaction.

(By the way, I loved ALL the endings in persona 4. except for when You-know-who dies...)

  • @edisjigsaw12 who?

  • i wonder if Persona 4 will have a sequel...

  • @TYREKJAMISON It will. persona 5 is in the making. Just hope all the characters you like will possibly come back.

  • @OurMapleStory i thought P5 was going to be a sequel of P3.

  • @TYREKJAMISON No way. and if that happen, im gonna stop playing persona. just enough with p3

  • @TYREKJAMISON Which isn't likely either. People take what Margeret said too seriously, I think.

  • I got goosebumps watching the final scene of the game. There was quite n attachment to the characters. You really felt, as you leaving the train station, "I'm leaving more than just where I stayed the last year. I'm leaving home. I'm leaving family and freinds. I'm leaving the people I love."

  • thanks btw.

  • I final-frekkin-ly found the song to the opening menu of the game...and the ending.

  • NOO GAMES FOR THE XOBOX 360 HAS CAME OUT BETTER THAN PERSONA 4 THE ONLY GAME THAT MADE ME CRY IN MY LIFE! =]

  • @erickzlyke160

    check persona 3 . T_T

  • @Sephiroth0232 to be honest i didnt cry for persona 4 the first persona game i ever played was persona 4 the characters feel real like if there alive and when they put this song in the end i cried for persona 3 the characters did no feel real

    only persona 4.....i LOVE p4

  • @Sephiroth0232 i didnt cry for persona 3 because the characters dont feel real like in persona 4 the characters in persona 4 feel real persona 3 no

persona 4 the # 1 game of all times

  • @erickzlyke160 i completly agree p4 was better than p3 and the characters were cooler and so were their personas

  • i swear to god,

i cried like a baby wen i beat the game..

in the end, i actually felt like i was leaving everyone..

I CAN FEEL THE CONNECTION WITH EVERYONE! xD

thats how good the game is!

Persona 4 is my all time fav game :3

  • @Raddaradda14 I so fuckin' agree, 'cept I didn't cry, but yeah, :{

  • For some reason this kinda reminds me of

Kanon 2006 ost - Last regrets

  • @UchihaSenpai

    that damn piano opening gets people everytime. so depressing... -_-;

  • "Aishiteru Sensei!!"

    Tears.

  • @blargityish -_- what part of secreat do you not understand (no) but i know lots more like simple and clean, our legacy continues (ending song more like hints check my channel the 1st one is there and no this is not the epic one from eariler

  • @blargityish shhh my secreat the one i know has lots more epicness and tears and i better ending song ^-~

  • @blargityish nah i know i better one
