great technique but it seems like you don't feel what you play, like you're not IN the music you're playing. instead of a great performance (cause you played great fills and stuff) i saw more of a "tired performance".. anyway it's a positive comment and i liked you very much :)
@fusionz06 For video we use an HD Canon HV20. For audio, ive got sm57 on snare, beta 52 on bass, sennheiser m421 on toms, and akg c1000's overhead and rode nt2 on hihat.- they all go to a tascam US1641 interface and record directly into garageband or logic studio.
I sure hope you record a lot with all that gear. And I mean, full bands. And mix and such after. If it's just for drums thats awesome. But I believe you could be getting a much better sound lol.
@TTaylorr All that gear is pretty much old school effect modules for our keyboards... nothing to do with drums. It was recorded into garageband with no compression or any effects. The bass drum was too strong, but other than that I think the sound is great
