I'm not convinced that consumers are looking for a seal. I think they're looking for a reputable name. You say it yourself that the feedback study comes from McAfee re: the 70% of customers looking for a seal and the 12% sales increase. Funny, the rep told me 16% sales incr. I'm convinced that the seal is nothing more than today's BBB seal except McAfee is charging $1890.00 to start regardless of business size and they want it up front. For that money, I need more valid info that it works!

@DieselVR6 I agree with you that a reputable name like McAfee goes along way towards boosting consumer confidence & the % does vary among who you speak with. The good news is it usually is above 10% which is always a plus. They charge $859/yr & have some price breaks with subscriptions so if you can increase sales it's worth a try.
