  • as far as i know, artists get very little money from cd sales, because the music instustry takes it all, thats why most artists dont care .. or even support filesharing

also .. i have read a couple of articles, which show that the sales of the music and video industry havent dropped since filesharing .. while i havent seen any proof otherwise .. only "words"

most ppl i know buy music they like, if they have the money ... i guess that works for most ppl .. so no money lost or stolen from anyone

  • Woops... what sucked is I lost all my music on my computer. Well said regarding some musician wanting to use p2p to get their work heard.

  • Moses didn't see this comming. I've purchaced about 150 bucks worth of iTunes stuff, I've managed to burn most of it onto "mood" CD's, That sucked though. I don't use peer to peer mostly because of poor sound quality.

  • A lot of the bands I listen to allow people to tape their live shows and share their recordings, for free, as long as they don't profit from it. And I completely agree about music belonging to the artist; hence the reason ALL of my music videos are posted only with permission from the artist!

  • Gawd you smoke as much as I do!! :)

(And yes, I am watching all your vids, just rather slowly. I wanted to throw in my vote on the ashtray!)
