  • Nice Rob McConnell Chart ! I love it.

  • Are these high school kids?

  • No,

New Port Swing Orchestra: NPSO is a band belonging to Konan University.

Their performance was demonstration as guest band.

  • I enjoyed their performance very much.jazz has come a long ways since I was in japan...which was in 1956.

There was the sharps and flats, and the Georgie Kawaguchi Mambo band. That was about it, although there were some small combos that were pretty good in Tokyo.

I sat in with some local bands in Nagoya, and I do remember that those guys could sight ready really well.

  • correct me if i'm wrong but from left to right in the bone section isn't it alto tenor tenor bass

  • wonderful, simply wonderful. id love to hear a trumpet feature from you guys :]

  • A wonderful section, congratulations to you all,a superb sound from one who was around during the hey day of big bands

  • swing them 'bones!
