  • This Adelaide track was that great in my opinion because it made drivers really have a hard work to do. Those mid-speed 90 degree turns along with the low grip tarmac resulted in some great pieces of car control, also seen in onboards of Jean Alesi, Gerhard Berger and Nigel Mansell.

  • year i was born :) to bad it wasn't a little earlier. i missed so much

  • I was actually in Adelaide this weekend and walked around the track. A magnificent street circuit. I was amazed by how narrow it was running through the 90-degree corners early on in the lap. At one point it is only a normal 2 lane street running past people's front doors! Having been to Melbourne in 2009, although it is a good circuit I wish we were still at Adelaide.

  • beautiful track, i miss :/

  • This is the reason why overtaking was much easier in th 90ies. You could still be 2nd by being 1.2 seconds down. Today, being a second down usually means that you are not among the top 10. Everybody is moving at almost the same speed now. BTW, this race was Ayrton's last victory.

  • seems like the steering wheel is sticking out further than the cockpit. Visable when he turns at the hairpins.

  • The best!

  • that strange, he should have been doing 1.13.

  • @dfraccaro1 He would later finish with a 1'13. This was just a random lap.

  • @dfraccaro1 He did it later... he was on pole in this race.
