It's a pretty meaningless statement. In my comment, I was referring to the moment where pudge waited in the shadows and then threw a hook. Unless he was MH-ing, the player was merely speculating where the enemy hero would be and took a gamble.

There was no way of being sure; thus luck plays a factor.

Pudge takes a lot of skill to play, but don't be fooled into thinking "pro" pudges never miss.

What a lot of people don't understand is when pudge waits say... 5 seconds and throws a hook, he isn't ALWAYS going to get a kill. Naturally, people are not going to post them playing as pudge, waiting for enemy heroes to retreat.... and then miss the hook. People only post the successes. So for all you know, when he makes the unbelievable one, he misses 3 other times.

Luck is a big part of playing pudge, especially invis hooks.
