He's screaming. They are a pagan black metal band from Finland. The vocal style in black metal is a high scream/low growl.

The Ghost Album is amazing. I'm not big on the newest album, but I liked their old stuff. The Ghost Album stands out the most, as it is different and is their transitional album towards the newer sound.
