Oh, and for your information, lions also live in groups of several individuals unlike bears, who are loners. Bottom line: you're a fucking idiot with your stupid and pathetic attempt to put lions down. But I'm not saying anything new. You already know what you are...
That's a funny theory you got there. Wolves have lived together with cougars for thousands of years and have not managed to affect their population the least bit. In fact a lone wolf will easily get its ass kicked by an equally sized cougar. Normally, they just avoid each other like lions and wild african dogs who ALSO work in large packs but are seriously afraid of lions.
You really should do some research before you go babbling like this.
it's highly unlikely that a pack of wolves regardless of its collective strength could pose a serious ecological threat to bears, they are just too bulky and aggressive to be overwhelmed by some dogged wolves, killing bear cubs is hardly an illustration of wolf might, it only serves to highlight how strong bears are.
the only creature that trades blows with a Brown Bear is the Siberian tiger, largest feline in the world and it regularly makes kills on bears.
@rabbilsikdar Siberian Tigers will on rare occations kill Brown Bear cubs and small females weighing less then 110 kg(most often while hibernatin) but they do not try to kill any adult normal sized Brown Bear. There are not even one recording af any grown male Brown Bear killed by a Siberian Tiger, but there are several cases of large male tigers killed by bears. Males often seek out Tigers and follow them in order to take their kills, and Tigers most often give up their kills in those meetings
@Norwegian733 tigers DON'T usually give up, I do accept that between two-fully grown adult male Bear and Tiger, the bear will dominate the tiger, but not all the time. And even if there wasn't recordings are you suggesting a tiger killing male bear doesn't happen? a tiger has extreme weight too for a land-predator, and it's swifter and agiler, silly as this sounds but in a fight between two fully-grown ones, the tiger is fast enough to dodge and strong enough to pin the bear with a neck bite.
@Hammer1995able Yeah, sure... Sounds easy, as if the Bear is very slow in fights. Its far from the truth.

A Tiger will lose to a normal sized Brown Bear in a face to face fight.
I don't know where you have gotten your information, but wild brown bears do not get much over 1200 lbs, there are some monsters out there but not a ton. Your average coastal is between 700-1000 lbs with some getting around 1200 lbs. A few years ago there was a guy who shot a record bear and the news and internet exagirated and said it was a 1800 lb bear, it was not. The man who actually shot it said it was only about 1200 lbs! Most inland bears 300-500 lbs, and coastal's average 600-900 lbs.
This is about an average sized coastal bear. But Kodiak Brown Bears do have the capacity to get MUCH bigger. One hunter killed a Brown Bear on Hinchinberg Island in Alaska that weighed roughly 3 times the average sized Brown Bears found there.
If you have a VERY Large Wolf pack of 15-20 animals, all determined and angry, they could take down a Brown Bear, but they'd suffer many injuries and probably casualties. You here about Wolves not wanting to tangle with Wolverines. No animal fights if it isn't necessary. If a pack of Wolves really wanted, they'd slaughter a Wolverine or a Cougar. But this would be rare.
So uninformed. People need to do research before they write about biology. The Alaska Brown Bears ARE Kodiak Bears. Where do you think Kodiak is anyway?
Alaska, duh.... The Alaska Brown Bears on Kodiak are THE largest bears in Alaska, not counting Polar bears, which are even LARGER (not smaller). A pack of wolves can devastate the Grizzly population. How well do you think a sow with 2 or 3 cubs of the year would do against a pack of wolves, with no trees around?
not 5 lions! maybe 3 full grown male lions, and hyenas are not overrated, they are very underrated, and actually they are very intelligent, and hyena has the strongest biting force, one hyena will kill a wolf
@dsrmams "not 5 lions! maybe 3 full grown male lions, and hyenas are not overrated, they are very underrated, and actually they are very intelligent, and hyena has the strongest biting force, one hyena will kill a wolf"
- Hyenas DO NOT have the 'strongest bitinf force'...
People are deluded in their assumptions that wolves are naturally powerful because of their mythical status, but also people exaggerate the extent of power a Brown Bear has. It really depends on what the fight is over. A pack of wolves will easily defend their territory while bears will dominate disputes of kills. A tiger and bear will rarely interact in fights, more intimidation, but Siberian Tigers have big weight AND speed. More tigers kill bears than the other way around
We must also take in to concideration that Brown Bears in inland Siberia is very small.
The seldom weigh over 300 kg. Females weigh 100- 200 kg. A 100 kg female in hibernation can be a victim to Tiger in winter. On extremely rare occation even while awake in summer. But there have never been report of a Tiger even attacking a fully grown male Bear. Not even while he hibernate in winter. They have seen many times the Tiger turn away from dens with male Bear as it will not go to close.
People people, unless you get a fucking scale and put that bear on it nobody knows how much the bear weighs. Enjoy the video and stop being a bunch of fucking todlers.

- The bear in this clip is a maximum of 600 lbs, not 1800 lbs as the poster claims. 1800 lbs is NOT 5 times the weight of a mature male lion. 1800/5 = 360 lbs. A mature male lion averages around 430 lbs.
theres no way a few of these wolves can kill a large bear, unless it was a real old, sick and already dieing from something, one swipe from a paw is enough to break any wolfs back !
@EvilStripedTiger there are many problems with what you have said, wolves vs lions, wolves like the african wild dogs will rarely attack and even though they won't lose necessarily, the balance of nature will not allow one species to go extinct because of competition, everything has it's niche. Secondly I have seen bears larger than this, and this does not look much more larger than the wolves shown here, a small individual to me.
i have seen a pack of 4 to 6 wolves kill an adult alaskan bear fairly easy. if no elk are there then they will resort to bears or anything else they can find.I as a human would rather have to run from a bear than a pack of wolves.
@Scorpion4503 No, you have not. You`re just another liar.
It does not hapn in real life that wolfes try to kill grown Brown Bears. There is a lot of Brown Bears and large Wolfes in Finland, but we know that Bears rule, even against a pack of Wolfes. The Wolfes big problem is that after a kill, they need to eat fast, since Bears come around and take ot from them. Even large packs cant actually fight a Bear. They will try to bite him a little in the ass, and harass him but not go into contact.
Canadian Grizzly Bears are not the largest of brown bears.. The Kodiak is.. Then the Kamchatka Brown Bear, North American Grizzly, Siberian Brown Bear & then others of course.. lol.. too many sub-species of brown bear for me to go all the way down from largest to smallest..
I like wolves and their hunting prowess, its really elegant and out there.
They scatter and fake attacks using mental attacks instead. They growl and howl showing theyre in control of the fight and swivel around a lot making it look like there are a lot more then there actually is. The prey is confused and afraid making it easy. Ive seen videos where the prey gives up, like it just falls in defeat.
FACT: Yes, these are small wolves. Grey Wolves in North American reach 36" at the shoulder and 175 Pounds. and YES they can kill just about anything. Wolverines Intimidate, that does not mean they will Kill a Large Wolf..or Bear..The Wolverine is ferocious, will fight to the death over anything. in other words most animals even much stronger ones, will give up. That does not mean the Wolverine would defeat them in a true life or death fight.
"EvilStripedTiger" seem to be a little "youtube- liar" that likes to make hoax- videos. Wolves do not kill adult Bears. They might get lucky and kill a cub. I think its very interesting to see that he cuts the sound at the end there :-) I guess the narrator says wolves dont have a chance in hell to take on a grown Brown Bear. Its not possible for this pack to kill that Bear. He would have to lay down with his neck in the air so the wolves could try to choke him :-)
@Norwegian73 im sorry but i disagree get a large enough pack and they could take that bear down size matters but if theres 10 to 15 wolves around you dont have that much time left on earth
@legocastle23 A pack of Wolves to take down that Brown Bear? Will not happen. They can only try that on cubs or small youngsters. But that Brown Bear has nothing to fear from a pack of 10- 15 Wolves. They know it and the Bear knows it.
@Norwegian733 i still believe a large pack of wolves could scare and even kill an adult brown bear. maybe not a Gigantic Kodiak bear but normal grizzlies and average Brown bears are still within the grasp of Wolf predation.
@legocastle23 let him sail in his trippy world.... ofcourse a large pack can kill a bear even a gigantic kodiak, mostly its luck but the fact is that bear cant watch all of the wolves at once and now and then a wolf gets a lucky strike in the neck or the eyes and then its game over for the bear so yeah ur right now and then....
@legocastle23 Actually, Doug Smith (director of the Yellowstone Wolf Project) once saw a grizzly bear hold a pack of 24 wolves off of a bull elk the wolves had just killed. He's seen enough interactions to know that at feeding sites, the grizzly bear almost always wins. Sure, the wolves can possibly kill a grizzly, but it's rare and they'd still suffer several losses, since brown bears are strong enough to kill even a bull bison with one swipe of the paw.
@NavyDogfish You should not take offense if I don't believe this Doug Smith, Was there any documented evidence that a grizzly bear actually did this? Not to mention that if indeed it was a pack of 24 wolves then it would be the Druid pack, one of the most notorious packs in Yellow Stone today. Now I'm not saying that grizzlies are weak, but an average grizzly is have been documented as being preyed upon by wolves. And I believe the bull bison being killed with one swipe is far fetch
Hyenas always lose against lions in the savannha fights when both sides join forces..
Whats really impressive 10,20,30 or 40 wolves or hyenas attacks a much smaller group of bigger predators? Is it impressive that 40 hyenas attacks 5 lions? Is it impressive that 5 wolves attack a single wolverine and they may even lose that battle? Is it impressive tyhat 10 wolves attacks a medium size grizzly or at least try to chase him away? No its not..
@jerven200 actually it is scaring or even killing something 2 to 4 times bigger than you is impressive. I have nothing against lone hunting carnivores like bears or cats but in the long run who is more successful? the Pack hunting Hyena's and Wolves
" Replace Hyenas in Africa, with Grey wolves, that have mental toughness and the canine pack mentality. Packs of 80 grey wolfs. Lions would be killed off and go extinct pretty fast."
Bullshit. Wolves have been driven to near extinction in Sikhote Alin by a small number of SOLITARY tigers.
Lmao a lion against the brown bear in this video. ahahhahahha. It would last one 5 seconds, the bear killing the lion with one swat, or the bear with very little effort pinning the lion down and ripping it to shreds with it's 4 to 5 times greater bite force.
Name your videos right, wolves are not toknown kill brown bears, they only take on small bears or young, adult brown bears are among predators unmatched and have nothing to fear from any carnivore exept another bear.
...No bear can kill a lion with one swat. And, the bear does not have a bite force 4 to 5 times as strong....in fact, that of the lion may be stronger, due to his higher sagittal crest, and massive head in relation to his size.
Ridiculous statement you just made about that bear being able to kill a lion with ease. I have an account of a male lion, named Brutus, killing a Polar bear (the largest and most powerful of bears) in a circus, though the lion himself was badly hurt.
I also have an account of a lioness wiping out seven wild dogs with ease. Their "wolf pack mentality" did not help them out at all.
Also, 1800 pounds is NOT three times the size of a mature male lion. Lions are considered adults at age 3, but they do not stop growing until they 2 or or 3 years older. When measuring the average weight of adult male lions you have to include these younger ones as well, which usually weigh less than 400 pounds.
Well fed male lions in their prime usually weigh well over 400 pounds (420 to 450 lbs to be specific).
No, there is not. There has been several fights between male African Lions vs Grizzlies. Some you`ll find in the book calles "Californian Grizzly". The Grizzlies killed the male Lions so easy that the betting became poor. So if you`re really intrested in the truth, send me a PM and I`ll send you links to the book and the right chapter that describes the fights. Lions had NO CHANCE against Bears. The Bears almost played with the Lions.
@EvilStripedTiger your comment "or the bear with very little effort pinning the lion down and ripping it to shreds with it's 4 to 5 times greater bite force"
Yet another ignorant, inaccurate clip, I would be happy to discuss felidae and ursidae bite force dynamics with you and explain how closely matched the generally are.
Zoology PhD with specific knowledge of felids and ursids.
@LSUcHamp606 lion isn't so extremely agile...it can't risk coming within an inch of a bear...only animal bulky and powerful enough to witstand that is a tiger.
@EvilStripedTiger PART 1 your 3 comments that appear at the top of this video are exaggerated, bias nonsense !...
1. "Lmao a lion against the brown bear in this video. ahahhahahha. It would last one 5 seconds, the bear killing the lion with one swat, or the bear with very little effort pinning the lion down and ripping it to shreds with it's 4 to 5 times greater bite force."
- bear swats are grossly exagerrated, bite force is NOT 4 to 5 times higher CONT.
Indeed but they are extremely strong swats.lol Anyway, I have a video I want to show of a Kodiak Bear that to me seems a little weird in terms of its skulls features. Particularly its size of its snout. Now the bear may indeed just be your normal looking Kodiak for anytime I've seen video or pictures of Kodiak's I only pay attention to their size and never anything else so its not like I really pay attention to detail but the bear in the video seems to have a noticeably shorter snout than others
@nordhorny Ok, now this may indeed be just a normal looking Kodiak so my apologies if right off that bat that is what you determine. Type in " Bear on Kodiak Island - Kaiser" For some reason maybe it's these damn cryptozoology shows Ive been watching lately but the bear just seems to have a short snout in comparison to other Kodiak's.
@pussylicker24 PART 1 Ok, I can tell you have a real interest in this and so I am going to give a full answer...
...that is simply a phenotypic trait showing up as a slighlty shorter muzzle (only slightly, the length is offset by the wider height of the muzzle* which tends to make the length appear shorter than it is, think of a fat and thin man of the same height - the fat man appears shorter).
* i.e. taken from the point where the muzzle meets the face at the top (CONTINUED)
...just in front of, and between the eyes to the base of the mandible in a verticle plane.
Variation in the phenotype of a species is down to which gene allele is selected as dominant during conception.
I see you have an interest in large kodiaks, I presume that is large bears of any species ? I have not seen a kodiak larger than Bart (I am certain you know whom I mean !). But I have actually measured a polar larger than Bart - 1900 lbs.
- indeed the bite force of equal weight lions and brown bears (i.e. the smaller browns) shows a higher figure in the felines (same for tigers and jaguars), only the larger browns equal the forces of the large felines (lions, tigers and jaguars)....
2. " These are Alaskan Brown Bears, bigger then Kodiaks and Polar bears. The bears here reach a ton plus."
- SOME coastal grizzlies, those of the alaskan peninsula, and those of the katmai region do indeed compare well in size to.....'SOME' kodiaks and 'SOME' polar bears...to state they are larger than either implies as a population - NOT TRUE ! As for 'the bears here reach a ton plus' - a misleading and pointless statement, such weight is superlative for ANY extant wild or captive bear, NOT a normal occurrence !
@EvilStripedTiger "These are Alaskan Brown Bears, bigger then Kodiaks and Polar bears. The bears here reach a ton plus."
Whilst coastal alaskans can equal the size of kodiaks and polars and even rival them for the largest specimens, it is not true that they are 'larger than kodiaks and polars', the subspecies average is larger in kodiaks and polars average larger than kodiaks. Reach a ton ? Very unlikely.
Zoology PhD specialising in ursidae and felidae, 18 months field study of polar bears.
@Hammer1995able Your the idiot not all bears in alaska are kodiak. in fact kodiaks only live on an island near alaska, Don't criticise other people intelligence when you don't know what your talking about.
@Hammer1995able Actually Kodiak Brown Bears are the same exact species of bear as the inland grizzlys, its their diet that make the Kodiak so big. There are bears taht have been shot off the coast of Alaska NOT ON KODIAK that are every bit as big as some of the biggest Kodiak bears, just the Island of Kodiak has a higher population of big bears. And no Poloar bears can get bigger, the biggest Polar bear on record is bigger then the biggest North American Brown bear, though not much bigger.
you are a fucking idiot, the bear in this video weights no more than 350 lbs,and the average weight for a COASTAL Alaskan Brown Bear(The largest brown bear sub-specie) is around 780lbs,nowhere near 5 times of a mature male lion. get your facts right
@calvinma1 That is correct, the bear in this video weighs at most 500 lbs. An Adult African Male Lion weighs about 550 lbs. This guy who uploaded the video has to be joking.
@calvinma1 " the average weight for a COASTAL Alaskan Brown Bear(The largest brown bear sub-specie)"
There is NO such subspecies of that name ! They are coastal grizzlies - Ursus arctos horribilis. NOR are they the largest brown bear subspecies, they are the third largest and fourth largest bear overall.
@calvinma1 and to be fair its extremely well documented that an american grizzly killed lions and bulls in fights pitted for bets. so take even an average alaskan brown bear and put a cute little lion in there and see what happens.
@EvilStripedTiger idiot, polar bear is the biggest predator on the earth. And a big south african male lion can weigh 800lbs, and the siberian tiger kills kodiak and male lions with ease.
@1337inzock lol siberian tigers(the biggest) rarely kill small female RUSSIAN BROWN BEARS. a grizzly/kodiak/alaskan/polar bear will kill any predator on earth one on one every time. that is a fact. russian bears are far less aggressive than a grizzly or western brown bear. theyre more like a black bear..
@ArchieBunker11LOL( I will start my sentence with lol to), You don't know a shit about siberian tigers. Because a alaskan or grizzly bear would not kill a male siberian tiger with ease. The bear would have been destroy in a long fight. The tiger is much faster, more aggresive and have stronger pucnh and jaws. But a grizzly have more muscles and good defence. But A tiger would go after the neck and kill with ease. Tigers destroys big pythons and crocks.
@1337inzock You are wrong. And I know about Siberian Tiger because I grew up in Sikhote- Alin, Tiger country. Brown Bear totally dominant against Siberian Tiger. They often follow them to take their prey. Tiger can not stop him. Tiger will never attack a fully grown Bear over 150 kg. Only small females in hibernation (seldom over 100 kg) and cubs. But they have never been seen trying a grown male Br Bear. Not even in hibernation. They are much to strong for Tigers.
@1337inzock But there are many documented reports of Br Bear killing large male Sib Tigers. But not the other way around. Br Bear have much stronger and deadlier paws than Tiger. Br Bears paw can kill a large prey as a Tiger, but a Tigers paws can not kill a large prey with hitting them. Bear have much more stamnia and much stronger wrestler than Tiger because of short body and short feet. Tiger will never be able to get to Bears neck in a face to face fight.
Oh, and for your information, lions also live in groups of several individuals unlike bears, who are loners. Bottom line: you're a fucking idiot with your stupid and pathetic attempt to put lions down. But I'm not saying anything new. You already know what you are...

He would have to lay down with his neck in the air so the wolves could try to choke him :-)
Norwegian73 2 years ago 24
@Norwegian73
Actually there are reports of wolves killing adult brown bears in the US. It's very rare, but it has happened.
ainulindale27 1 year ago
@Norwegian73 Thank you for a reality check.
Gazelle53 11 months ago
@Norwegian73 im sorry but i disagree get a large enough pack and they could take that bear down size matters but if theres 10 to 15 wolves around you dont have that much time left on earth
legocastle23 6 months ago
@legocastle23 A pack of Wolves to take down that Brown Bear? Will not happen. They can only try that on cubs or small youngsters. But that Brown Bear has nothing to fear from a pack of 10- 15 Wolves. They know it and the Bear knows it.
Norwegian733 3 months ago
@Norwegian733 i still believe a large pack of wolves could scare and even kill an adult brown bear. maybe not a Gigantic Kodiak bear but normal grizzlies and average Brown bears are still within the grasp of Wolf predation.
legocastle23 3 months ago
@legocastle23 let him sail in his trippy world.... ofcourse a large pack can kill a bear even a gigantic kodiak, mostly its luck but the fact is that bear cant watch all of the wolves at once and now and then a wolf gets a lucky strike in the neck or the eyes and then its game over for the bear so yeah ur right now and then....
K4RSCA 3 months ago
@legocastle23 Actually, Doug Smith (director of the Yellowstone Wolf Project) once saw a grizzly bear hold a pack of 24 wolves off of a bull elk the wolves had just killed. He's seen enough interactions to know that at feeding sites, the grizzly bear almost always wins. Sure, the wolves can possibly kill a grizzly, but it's rare and they'd still suffer several losses, since brown bears are strong enough to kill even a bull bison with one swipe of the paw.
NavyDogfish 1 day ago

No its not..
jerven200 2 years ago
@jerven200 actually it is scaring or even killing something 2 to 4 times bigger than you is impressive. I have nothing against lone hunting carnivores like bears or cats but in the long run who is more successful? the Pack hunting Hyena's and Wolves

"Wolves are known to kill aslakan brown bears"
Yeah, which the narrator specifies as "small".
darkhyena 2 years ago
" Replace Hyenas in Africa, with Grey wolves, that have mental toughness and the canine pack mentality. Packs of 80 grey wolfs. Lions would be killed off and go extinct pretty fast."
Bullshit. Wolves have been driven to near extinction in Sikhote Alin by a small number of SOLITARY tigers.
darkhyena 2 years ago
Lmao a lion against the brown bear in this video. ahahhahahha. It would last one 5 seconds, the bear killing the lion with one swat, or the bear with very little effort pinning the lion down and ripping it to shreds with it's 4 to 5 times greater bite force.
EvilStripedTiger 2 years ago
Name your videos right, wolves are not toknown kill brown bears, they only take on small bears or young, adult brown bears are among predators unmatched and have nothing to fear from any carnivore exept another bear.
Casioo24 2 years ago 2
...No bear can kill a lion with one swat. And, the bear does not have a bite force 4 to 5 times as strong....in fact, that of the lion may be stronger, due to his higher sagittal crest, and massive head in relation to his size.
brentlion 2 years ago
Ridiculous statement you just made about that bear being able to kill a lion with ease. I have an account of a male lion, named Brutus, killing a Polar bear (the largest and most powerful of bears) in a circus, though the lion himself was badly hurt.
I also have an account of a lioness wiping out seven wild dogs with ease. Their "wolf pack mentality" did not help them out at all.
BOSNIAisHERE 2 years ago
Also, 1800 pounds is NOT three times the size of a mature male lion. Lions are considered adults at age 3, but they do not stop growing until they 2 or or 3 years older. When measuring the average weight of adult male lions you have to include these younger ones as well, which usually weigh less than 400 pounds.
Well fed male lions in their prime usually weigh well over 400 pounds (420 to 450 lbs to be specific).

right you are, thers vids on YT of mountain lions beating the shit outa huge brown bears, and there alot smaller than a fkin african lion:}
rikestard 2 years ago
No, there is not. There has been several fights between male African Lions vs Grizzlies. Some you`ll find in the book calles "Californian Grizzly". The Grizzlies killed the male Lions so easy that the betting became poor. So if you`re really intrested in the truth, send me a PM and I`ll send you links to the book and the right chapter that describes the fights. Lions had NO CHANCE against Bears. The Bears almost played with the Lions.

- bear swats are grossly exagerrated, bite force is NOT 4 to 5 times higher CONT.
nordhorny 11 months ago
Indeed but they are extremely strong swats.lol Anyway, I have a video I want to show of a Kodiak Bear that to me seems a little weird in terms of its skulls features. Particularly its size of its snout. Now the bear may indeed just be your normal looking Kodiak for anytime I've seen video or pictures of Kodiak's I only pay attention to their size and never anything else so its not like I really pay attention to detail but the bear in the video seems to have a noticeably shorter snout than others
pussylicker24 10 months ago
@pussylicker24 Send me the details of the vid...
nordhorny 10 months ago
@nordhorny Ok, now this may indeed be just a normal looking Kodiak so my apologies if right off that bat that is what you determine. Type in " Bear on Kodiak Island - Kaiser" For some reason maybe it's these damn cryptozoology shows Ive been watching lately but the bear just seems to have a short snout in comparison to other Kodiak's.
pussylicker24 10 months ago
@pussylicker24 PART 1 Ok, I can tell you have a real interest in this and so I am going to give a full answer...
...that is simply a phenotypic trait showing up as a slighlty shorter muzzle (only slightly, the length is offset by the wider height of the muzzle* which tends to make the length appear shorter than it is, think of a fat and thin man of the same height - the fat man appears shorter).
* i.e. taken from the point where the muzzle meets the face at the top (CONTINUED)
nordhorny 10 months ago
@pussylicker24 PART 2
...just in front of, and between the eyes to the base of the mandible in a verticle plane.

@EvilStripedTiger PART 2
- NO, NO and a misleading statement !... CONT.
nordhorny 11 months ago
@EvilStripedTiger PART 3

Whilst coastal alaskans can equal the size of kodiaks and polars and even rival them for the largest specimens, it is not true that they are 'larger than kodiaks and polars', the subspecies average is larger in kodiaks and polars average larger than kodiaks. Reach a ton ? Very unlikely.

they're SAME size as a polar bear, and their only real challenge ever would be the Siberian Tiger, Saltwater Crocodile or the Great White Shark.
Hammer1995able 5 months ago
@Hammer1995able Your the idiot not all bears in alaska are kodiak. in fact kodiaks only live on an island near alaska, Don't criticise other people intelligence when you don't know what your talking about.
optimisticnight 2 months ago
@Hammer1995able Actually Kodiak Brown Bears are the same exact species of bear as the inland grizzlys, its their diet that make the Kodiak so big. There are bears taht have been shot off the coast of Alaska NOT ON KODIAK that are every bit as big as some of the biggest Kodiak bears, just the Island of Kodiak has a higher population of big bears. And no Poloar bears can get bigger, the biggest Polar bear on record is bigger then the biggest North American Brown bear, though not much bigger.

you are a fucking idiot, the bear in this video weights no more than 350 lbs,and the average weight for a COASTAL Alaskan Brown Bear(The largest brown bear sub-specie) is around 780lbs,nowhere near 5 times of a mature male lion. get your facts right
calvinma1 2 years ago 12
@calvinma1 That is correct, the bear in this video weighs at most 500 lbs. An Adult African Male Lion weighs about 550 lbs. This guy who uploaded the video has to be joking.
VraiDiouf 1 year ago
@calvinma1 " the average weight for a COASTAL Alaskan Brown Bear(The largest brown bear sub-specie)"
There is NO such subspecies of that name ! They are coastal grizzlies - Ursus arctos horribilis. NOR are they the largest brown bear subspecies, they are the third largest and fourth largest bear overall.
nordhorny 1 year ago
@calvinma1 and to be fair its extremely well documented that an american grizzly killed lions and bulls in fights pitted for bets. so take even an average alaskan brown bear and put a cute little lion in there and see what happens.

NOWHERE NEAR 1800 lbs, 1000 lbs is more accurate. If you wish I will show you what 1800 lbs looks like for comparison (a huge male polar bear).
nordhorny 1 year ago
@EvilStripedTiger idiot, polar bear is the biggest predator on the earth. And a big south african male lion can weigh 800lbs, and the siberian tiger kills kodiak and male lions with ease.
1337inzock 1 year ago
@1337inzock lol siberian tigers(the biggest) rarely kill small female RUSSIAN BROWN BEARS. a grizzly/kodiak/alaskan/polar bear will kill any predator on earth one on one every time. that is a fact. russian bears are far less aggressive than a grizzly or western brown bear. theyre more like a black bear..
ArchieBunker11 1 year ago
@ArchieBunker11LOL( I will start my sentence with lol to), You don't know a shit about siberian tigers. Because a alaskan or grizzly bear would not kill a male siberian tiger with ease. The bear would have been destroy in a long fight. The tiger is much faster, more aggresive and have stronger pucnh and jaws. But a grizzly have more muscles and good defence. But A tiger would go after the neck and kill with ease. Tigers destroys big pythons and crocks.
1337inzock 1 year ago
@1337inzock You are wrong. And I know about Siberian Tiger because I grew up in Sikhote- Alin, Tiger country. Brown Bear totally dominant against Siberian Tiger. They often follow them to take their prey. Tiger can not stop him. Tiger will never attack a fully grown Bear over 150 kg. Only small females in hibernation (seldom over 100 kg) and cubs. But they have never been seen trying a grown male Br Bear. Not even in hibernation. They are much to strong for Tigers.
Nicolai188 1 year ago
@1337inzock But there are many documented reports of Br Bear killing large male Sib Tigers. But not the other way around. Br Bear have much stronger and deadlier paws than Tiger. Br Bears paw can kill a large prey as a Tiger, but a Tigers paws can not kill a large prey with hitting them. Bear have much more stamnia and much stronger wrestler than Tiger because of short body and short feet. Tiger will never be able to get to Bears neck in a face to face fight.
Nicolai188 1 year ago
@EvilStripedTiger a mature male lion weighs 550 lbs that's only 3 times heavier and I don't think the bear weighs 1800 more like 300-350 lbs.
