When I was 13/14 I managed to get some of the very hard men and ghetto boys in my class at school to play this (we didn't have AC in Europe until late 2004!) & we were swapping codes for a pear and stuff! Absolutely mental in retrospect. And the interesting thing was in mid 2004 I told my friend about the game before it was scheduled for European release because of a British voting campaign for its release so he imported the PAL Australian version and Google had NOTHING about 'animal crossing'

@gattytalquimista i got the game harvest moon and no animal crossing and harvest moon isn't anything a like. in harvest moon your a son of a farmer who recently pass away and your taking your fathers farm and continuing it. your a farmer and you marry on there so its different from animal crossing. i love harvest moon its a wonderful game to play :)

I will never forget how MUCH I begged my mom for this game when I was a kid. lol I was so excited to play a game for once in which all you do, is do what you want to do :) I will never forget waiting endlessly for the game to be returned to Blockbuster Video so I could play it, since it was not returned on time. Then, when I went to school one day, I found the kid who STILL had the animal crossing game. I said to him "Return it NOW so I can play it!" lmao Animal Crossing will ALWAYS be my fav :3

This is still one of the best Animal Crossing(s) ever because they had an awesome camera view and a lot of the cool characters still looked cool like Gulliver and Copper...They also had calendars and whatnot....
