DishNetwork is much better than DirectTV. With DirectTV, you have to pay $10 a month for HD programming. with Dish Network, it's free for life and you get more channels than DirectTV for the same price in comparison.

Dish Technology vs DirecTV. DirecTV is worlds Ahead. Compare DVR to DVR. Either way you cut it Satellite is worlds better than Cable. Just look at the picture quality.

Directv is crap. I had directv from 1995-2006 and it was a major improvement over cable. But then they started charging more for less. Went with DishNetwork in 2006 to present and yes it is true depends on the package. But I went with the Americas Top 200 and recently signed up for HD free for life. Ever since the switch Directv keeps sending mail saying "come back" I tell them to take a walk. Now dish is offering free starz movie channels til feb. 2012. customer appreciation.

Dish's dual channel HD DVR Will only supply an HD signal to the TV that is connected to the DVR. The other TV does not get an HD signal because you cannot split an HD signal. You get a box for every TV with direct TV because it supplies a better picture quality..

i had dishnetwork for 10 yrs i even worked for dish at one of there slave labor camps aka call centers for 5 yrs dish has a good product and there hd dvr is easy to use and a very nice system however they are not the cheapest they nickel and dime you to death my current dish with 1 duel tuner dvr and a non hd single tuner dvr cost me 111.67 same equiptment and prog via direct tv 85.99 mo. even after credits and discounts are off the account sorry dish but money talks and charlie eargan talks Bs

Direct TV has free HD, Dish doesn't. Direct TV workers are working during the holidays, Dish workers aren't. Direct TV's prices have gotten cheaper over the years, Dish's prices have risen over the years. I have had both Dish and Direc TV. And Direct TV is a bigger bang for your buck.

Here's a few tips:

1) Memorize the lines, skip the teleprompter.

2) Look at the camera when speaking.

3) Don't merely spout corporate promo lines. Given honest comparisons. Direct TV is cheaper for one TV homes, and has more sports channels, namely, the NFL Sunday Ticket.

4) Though it is true that Dish Network overall has is a better value for most (not ALL) customers, this video did not demonstrate that fact.
