  • nice,looks like a good boat motor

  • Sounds horrible and been a MAN engine that will just have used 5litres of diesel fuel

  • Is this engine has 12 liters and 310 HP? Sound of this engine reminds me engines of Ikarus 280.37 and Ikarus 435

  • QUALITY MADE IN GERMANY, FORGET CHINESE CRAP!!!!!!

  • SUBERB SOUND THAT THING SOUNDS AS AN ANGRY GROWLING TIGER, STILL

THE OLD WORD WAR TWO SOUND--NO OTHER FOREIGN ENGINES EVER HAD THIS SOUND....OLD HENSCHEL LANOVA DIESEL INLINE 8 ALSO SOUNDED EXCELLENT!

  • сразу видно где то в турции

  • I would have run some water thru it first, if i could have. Let's say the radiator had a wee leak.

  • bad ass. love it.

  • Not sure but I think I have the same engine in my 05 Civic.

  • yap action with screwdriver and flywheel was totally amateur....

sounds so nice because there is no muffler and voice comes directly from exhaust manifold. each engine sounds sexier without muffler.......

  • How much do engines like this weigh?

  • about 300-500 Kg I thing, I dont realy know

  • @NORIRAFGEYMIR would be about 610kg

  • nice

screwdriver wont last long doing that ^_^

  • I hav'nt seen one of those for years! I worked for M.A,N in the 70s it went in the 16.232 tractor unit. What a lovely engine.

  • @ricandlou

They didn't use these in trucks?

  • @douro20 What did they use them in then? They were used in lorries, I have worked on no end of them, I looked after a fleet of 16.232 tractor units in Holloway, north London in the 70's and worked for M.A.N at Chiswick, London W4 in the early 70's. They were very robust, reliable engines, and easy to work on.
