@wtam69 I can't see why it wouldn't. The Lenz2 design is fairly standard ... 3 blades of a size proportional to diameter and set at a certain angle. If you Google Lenz2 plans I think you can find them. I haven't experimented with them to know if there is a better arrangement.
Come to think of it, the Savonius was hooked up to the battery, but it does not begin to come under a load until 110 RPM. This wasn't a scientific comparison. We have since had better wind and the Lenz2 will appear to take off at some point, but then again, it is not under a load. There are other people on here that have had much more experience with the Lenz2 and can comment on its effectiveness.

Do you think the windblue type alternator generator will work with the lenz 2 design you have? Is 3 blade better than 4? Thanks.

Nothing yet. I've got to get the ceiling fan modified and some magnets installed.
