I personally really liked the album this song is on immensely.I thought it was a fantastic follow up to Perfect Strangers.And this song just rips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the top 5 best bands of all time as far as I am concerned.

Mitzi Dupree is a Canadian Stripper who can shoot pin pong balls out of her...Hence why Gillan needed another drink after she told him. The mineing town was in the Yukon territories.

The song was a single live studio take, no over dubs. Blackers refused to do it again because he no like it, so they only did it this once....Brilliant!

Don't understand why people keep trashing the "House of Blue Light" album. That's a great record. This song is definitely the best on there, but there are more definitive classics on there. "Mad Dog", "Call of the Wild", "The Unwritten Law", "Bad Attitude", "Dead Or Alive", "Strangeways"...

well i knew right away that i've seen her act before,in a room behind a kitchen in bangkok and three or four times more in SINGAPORE. that was in 1985 when deep purple played here and after the gig the guys went to orchard road for some fun where he met mitzi dupree.

mitzi was not a "ladyboy" but rather a 450+lbs black woman/stripper who manly traveled through canadian small town bars since her act was deemed obscene by the CLB (canadian liquor board)

At least that's what I've learned from doing a small amount of research
