My Lord... what unspeakable horrors those people went through. I was thinking on what was said about the mother and the baby. I don't blame the mother one bit, not wanting to be separated from her child. I have children and when they were small, I know for a fact how strong the motherly instinct is. When they were small, I truly believe that nothing or no one on the face of the earth could separate me from my children. I would have had to die for that to be done.

I've read in several places the Nazi's didn't even try to separate mothers and children on the ramp in most cases, they simply sent mothers and children together to the gas chamber. This can be seen in the few pics of the ramp that exist. Women and children on one side, and men on the other.

poor woman..... what terrible pain what horror she went through.... I cannot even start to imagine being there..... it is too horrible to be true... BUT IT IS TRUE! How how how can this have happened?

Hitler is the most sick man out of every human being that ever lived. How could you do this How, why Whats the point of killing thousands of inocent men, women & children! I cant even watch these videos or read about this holocaust stuff without breaking down into tears i may not be German (im american) or Jewish but these victims of this horrible crime are my heros, and they will be forever i couldnt imagine living in a Camp like this, and forced to do what they had to do. Hitler is a sick man!

so if thisbut then again you cannot educat everyone..!!!! man is not telling us the truth, what happened to all of his family ?? why is it so difficult to accept that these people were systematically murdered by the SS. WHEN YOU RESEARCH IT AS I HAVE, then it all falls into place.. not rocket science to know what the nazis did to these people.. unfortunately you cannot educate everyone and even when the truth is staring people in the face they will still say black is white..!!!!!!

Questions, why were they pinching their cheeks? So they could look more attractive or that the Germans might have mercy on them? and second who is Mengele? Was he a German guy?

@geraeanastashia the reason they pinched the cheeks was because they were pale and looked sick they were making their cheeks rosy and healthy looking, mengele was an evil doctor guy who did alot of experiments on children

@geraeanastashia Pink cheeks meant good blood flow, so it would make them look healthy, so that they would not die in the gas chambers. Josef Mengele was a "doctor" who worked at Auschwitz, Hitler made it his job to experiment on people in hopes of find "cures" but he was mostly into Twins. :D

@geraeanastashia i recommend you read about Mengele on wikipedia. what he has done is beyond belief. he was feared in Auschwitz because he was inspecting new arrivals and directed some of them to the gas chambers. he also experimented on creating twins. what has happened in these concentration camps is a lot more horrific than we could ever understand or imagine.

That is the most awful thing ever. Most of the victims of the holocaust are going to have to have lived with knowing that one or more of their family have died. it's not right, its beyond cruel and it SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!

@ratednine Rewind and rewatch, she clearly says she didn't know what Auschwitz or who Dr. Mengele was when she arrived there. It makes sense, you're being deported from point A to point B, where the train ride takes you 4+ days and then you're surrounded by strangers. Would you know where you are or whom you're talking to? What's so strange about that?
