The animation quality is amazing in this "archive footage". Gives it a nice atmosphere. Looking forward to the game. I loved Scratches and look forward to the upcoming Asylum.
@rekkujalmari Considering this is presumably from around the 1940's (?) it wasn't exactly recorded with top notch audio equipment to begin with. Like that nifty pocket-size tape-recorder on his right.
@flojdtube Exactly, that's why the highs ought to be be subdued instead of exaggerated and digital clipping shouldn't be present at all. Irrational got it spot on with their "vintage" recordings in Bioshock. Props to lhungtings for responding in character :)

Holy fucking ear fatigue, batman. Maybe go a little easier with the compressor and high-end EQ next time?
