How did you make guitar hero to recognize your controller? I cant make it recognize simple USB joystick. Did you map controller keys to keyboard keys?

you could do that or find out why your controller isnt working i cant imagine that GH3 for PC wouldn't be able to use a gamepad.

i think the fret keys are done keyboard style anyway but i could be wrong

wii - just only as keyboard

Hi!

If I know it well, you can use the Playstation guitar on PC, with some kind of adaptor (not all of them is good). But you need the joy2key program too, so you can't use it for a duel with the keyboard.

Of course I heard! I wrote it also in the info tab. Nowdays I use just frets on fire with the newest alarian mod. It's perfect, I have all the songs from guitar heroes & rockbands.

I think it's impossible. Maybe if you have the perfect clone of the GH guitar with the same buttons and axises. I have also an original x-box explorer, the battle mode working for me :)

There is a little program called Joy2key. You must use it for a "joystick support".

No, because it is a PC gamepad. But you can take a PS3 one. I don't like consoles, I use my PC for gaming.

I used glue to fix the parts together, so I don't want to open it. If you show this video to somebody who can solder it, he will understand everything. It's a very simple "circuit".

First of all I did't take out the whammy bar from my explorer. It's not a GH guitar mod, it's a standalone guitar.

I can suggest any wireless gamepad. Get the cheepest one :)

no, the golden bit of the gamepad is the directional axis, you don't need to solder it, just leave it.

You need to solder all of the buttons to a wire, and the other end of the wire to the gamepad. I use hot glue just for fixing the soldering.

Thank you! It is possible to connect the xbox guitar to the PC, if it is a wired controller, you need the drivers, if it is wireless you need a xbox360 wireless receiver.

I'm also looking for a stand alone xbox 360 controller because of the battle mode.

GH III is released for PC&Mac too, just check the internet, you can get it from anywhere. But you can't buy standalone guitars in Hungary yet.
