@alfonzolamar kobe without shaq or gasol=nothing. gasol DID have a higher efficiency rating in the 2010 finals which the celtics won but the horrible refs killed. (celtics woulda won by 4-6 points if they would have officiated correctly instead of catering to kobe as he choked in front of millions in his home court game 7 in the most watched finals since 98 jazz vs bulls). and dropping 81 points is easy when the refs won't let u play defense without blowing the whistle against a horrible team.

@alfonzolamar the vast majority of kobes high scoring games have been against horrible losing record opponents, and plenty of his points came from free throws. kobe's also set the record for lowest fg% for having at least X amount of points (at least 40 or 50 i think). kobe simply hogs the ball to try and artificially gain fame. he's very overrated and has been getting tons of bandwagon hoppers. players like tmac and iverson were both better than kobe in their primes. kobe just has an amazing

@alfonzolamar has an amazing team. and no, kobe is not near lebron. kobe just got to start out on the lakers as a top pick because he was traded, if kobe was stuck on the hornets he would have just been another vince carter, with less hops and maybe slightly better 3s (though carter has a franchise record for 3pters as well). i know alot of shit about basketball. and right now we have jordan as the best of all time, with lebron far ahead of the rest (3rd all time ppg behind wilt/jordan).

@alfonzolamar and in case your wondering. rings are a testament to a TEAM winning. in order to get a ring your team has to be very very stacked, be it the 80s 90s or even 2000s, its the fucking nba. you don't get by with a weak supporting cast. and kobe has had the strongest supporting cast other than the celtics and the current heat, since the 90s bulls. people don't realize that shit and just follow hype. alot of players could take kobes place and the lakers would just improve.

@zephah give me some numbers to prove lebron didn't have to contribute as much as kobe. i already stated black and white that lebron accounted for 48% of their offense last year which dwarfed what ANYONE else did for their team. kobe is included in the anyone category. i'm pretty sure your argument was lost before you started it, i'm notsure what your getting at. the lakers have a much better lineup than the cavs if u subtract kobe and lebron from them, no way around it.
