@iH8MomJokes lol do you watch the MotoGP ever? Suzuki places after several Hondas and Yamahas ALWAYS. Stats are there and they don't lie. GSX-R looks great and can hold its own but will never win on a track against R6 or CBR600. My 2 cents.
hey im looking to start riding a bike but dont no what is a good bike to start with. im sticking with suzuki though cause i have always riden suzuki dirt bikes and i like suzuki alot. power wont be a problem for me but idk the differense between a mx bike and a street bike. any advice?
@squantotheboywonder easy mate:i almost got a gsxr 750 to start with.. but ended up with an SV650. never looked back, only sold it to go traveling..now i'm back:gsxr :D the SV was SO forgiving: the lack of HP meant I could getmyself out of some sticky situations i probably would have stacked it otherwise a lot of people swear by bandits.. but they look shite (in my opinion). the SV is a great begininer bike, but has the looks to. providing you get a full fairing model, preferably yellow :)
@MrBassAnimal thanks man that helped a bit. i have to wait about 8 months before i can get one though (mom wont let me unless im not only 18 but out of her house lol)

@Kingjamesif if you live on germany then yes you may be left behind on a 600 but in usa if they are leaving you behind they are already riding too dangerous
I own an 06 600 and with a simple remapping of the ECU and a good pipe it makes some serious power for a 600. And these bikes are designed to be reved so let em rip they love it.
I know how you feel, I had one of these bikes for 2 years and got fed up of having to rev it to 15k plus to make it go anywhere, I suggest a gsxr 750? or any thou
love the headlights. hate the new ones. the 750 is the best. R6 own the 600 for racing. so might as well just get the 750. but no one touches the GSXR1000.
I have a 06 gsxr6 re on black, and I must say this is about the sweetest peice of pussy ive ever riddin! I went from stock to a full Micron Serpent system wit the GP pipe (black of course), a mapped out power commander, a TRE, K&N air filter, Top of the line spark plugs, and finnaly a Quick Reaction Spocket Kit!!! At STOCK, The front end of the bike would only come up if i was at about 10,000RPM + at first, with me pushing well past 50mph +!!!
Now this SWEET BITCH is coming up at 30mph+, real talk! The gains are fuckin unbelievable, and my final move is the DINO! trust me when i say with all of this my friends with 1000's are shocked out of their moinds when they see they can no longer leave me on 95 or 695!
I BE ON THERE ASSES, and one slip up from them like gettin a little jammed up in traffic??? SHIIID, its a wrap, cause I'm lonnnng Gooonnnne baby! already been proven as a fact, i leave their asses STUNNED!!! Hahahahah! Once its dino'ed its over for them and they already know it!!!
JacquesZupp: In this day of modern design elements, I think it's RETARDED not to combine the mirror and turn signal. Why have the extra attachment? It's called intelligent design.
yea iv got the 600 k7 and i love the way it luks! i think its one ofthe best lukin 6's out ther, wen i heard bout the new gixxer having more midrange i was gunna trade up that was until i saw the new luk urgh!!
what does everybody think about the Kawa ZX6R? Ive been riding Suzuki since I was a 3yo, kinda want to stick with it, but have been hearing good things about the ZX6R, can anyone tell me what they're like?
yea i own both a gixxer 600 k7 and a kawa zx6r08, the both great bikes i dnt have nothin bad to say bout the gixxer at all but the zx6r has a few lil problems nothin major though lyk the side stand its to straight the bike doesnt lean ova enuf and twice has fell due to high wind the other is the seat its sooo hard! so if u dnt wnt kids and u dnt mind splashing out on new plastics from time to time get a zx6r lol any ova ques jst msg
The new GSXR 600's are the best 600's in my opinion. I just ran a 10.97 @ 127 mph on a STOCK 2006 GSXR 600. That was my second time ever drag racing. Nice bike and great sound by the way.
but everytime i hear a motorcycle passing by .. i look at it untill i cant hear and see it anymore ..
and i saw this motorcycle just twice in reallife . and believe me: i kept looking even when others diddnt hear it annymore .. i fell in love with it REALLY ..
I'm with you all, the new headlight if ridculous, and I haven't really read much about jumps in performance for the '08...'06 blue/white is one of the sharpest bikes around.
9 year rider here, i think katana's make excellent beginner bikes and they are easy to ride sporty once you get the hang of it.
But even they are a bit of a handful actually.
serious sportbikes are monsters and really not for beginners. When they say beginner friendly, they mean friendly to beginners to sportbikes from other kinds of bikes

yap when you buy it,they give you the seat pillion also in a nice beautiful suzuki bag. When on track you can put that aerodynamic bit. When shepherding chicks pull out the seat.simple really :)
i agree and dont agree.. i agree that u can hurt urself no matter what bike u have but i dont agree that it doesent matter weather u get a ninja 250 or this bike, there is a big difference!
lower performance is better for a first bike cause ive heard about a bunch of people panicking when something happens on there first bike and hittin the has hard, and nothing good comes with that
I like the k8-10 models are my favorite, but i still like the k6-7 models

we all know that gixxer is number 1...
1. gsxr 600
2. cbr600rr
3. r6
4. zx6r
...Lets share all our opinions
iH8MomJokes 3 months ago 2
@iH8MomJokes why would be a gixxer number 1? there is no bike like ducati... no wonder why its the most expansive bike.
And about these japanese 600's, its all about the taste....

spectormyeura 4 years ago
It really doesnt matter if you get this bike or a ninja 250....Both bike are capable of doing 100+
you could fall off the 600 at 30 mph and die...same thing goes for the 250....I hope you understand what im trying to say.
Its not the speed....you just need to know your way around a bike =)
