If you cannot do something so simple and safe as that then you must concede the argument to me.

I'm not sayng that 3kV aren't enough to die, but that man ware just to close and even tuched the wires!. Where the voltage is higher the distance to create a electric ark is longer. In Europe, especialy in moisty weather is posible at 1-2 meters
